I really think this comment is inappropriate especially when Ian is taking time here and being respectful of everyone.

People bitch and moan all the time about how Devs don't get involved in communities like this and when they do you get this kind of stuff.

Ya dude not cool. I have been the biggest EA pessimist and 2k backer there is, but this comment is out of line. Give the man props for coming in here and taking all of our questions. . In fact I have never seen this a game being CHANGED as we speak while taking input from fans, No one not 2k, EA or anywhere have I seen this.

Ian just ignore these types of comments, as you know they represent 2% of the people here so keep up the work you and EA have earned ALOT of (new)fans for doing this,

The most important thing is that a gang tackle happens almost 90% of the time so there should be more struggle with the solo tackling and it leading to more gang tackling. 2K had a great idea in the fact that as soon as a ball carrier made contact he could escape the tackle by tapping a button, but also allow the defender to make the tackle by doing the same. But usually by then a gang tackle is happing. (Which is realistic to Football)

Whats lacking in Madden is that at any point when a player is being tackled a 2nd player doesnt always have a chance to help make the gangtackle. And it needs to be 100% chance of 2nd player adding to tackle (like 2K5 allows you to do) at any point.

One question though, does the defense actually utilize pursuit angles in this game?

There's a video on youtube of someone using Michael Vick and parading around the whole field 4-5 times before being tackled by the D, all because they were not smart enough to take the angle to Vick...

You must be really new to the video game world and/or quite naive if you think that all game manufacturers look toward the industry past and present for the best ideas to help make their games betters. This is true across all genres not just football or EA. And if you think 2K never incorporated any ideas from Madden into their games you're beyond naive and into complete fanboy territory.
