Gang Tackling Challenge Response (from Ian Cummings)

Ian....i'm sitting here telling my wife about how cool this is...that a dude from EA is actually on the OS boards with us accepting feedback, constructive criticism, and discussing how to make Madden a better game (she doesn't really care, but i'm telling her all about you anyway)!

i had asked a question about whether there was a Replay Frequency option/slider in Madden this year. you indicated there is not. understood. thanks for answering the question.

now...is it too late to make automatic replays much more frequent than they've been in the past?? i really enjoy watching replays during my games. again, we can always hit A and move on if we want to. but i really think having frequent auto replays in the game (to include penalties and injuries) would be really great.

Suggestion: Just a little thing that you may even be able to put in this years game, if ya'll didn't already think of it. I really love all the attributes you added last year, but could they perhaps be organized better?

Like when you're looking over your roster or in free agency maybe just show the relevant attributes for the position. It's funny seeing how much kick power you think London Fletcher has, but maybe just show his speed, awr, tackling, etc. Then have a more detailed attribute listing when you click the right stick on the player and go into the attributes menu there.

Or just put the relevant attributes up front, so if you're looking at a kicker you're not scrolling all the way to the end just to see the only really relevant attributes. I know your on the game play side, but a more streamlined UI is always a good thing.

Why so long for the improvements? Your comparing a 2004 game on the original Xbox to a 2008 game on the next gen system. Slacking is an understatement. Are you feeling heat from what Backbreaker could POSSIBLE do?

this is really unnecessary.

Everyone wanted Madden to be more like the 2k series. So that is what they are trying to do and then some. Read through the thread and you'll see what I mean.

I loved that idea as well, but i point was made later in the thread about the frustration of spotting a reciever wide open right in front of you but not being able to throw to him because he has no icon. I do like the idea but its implementation may need some tweaking, but im glad you are looking into alternatives to the QB vision cone , the idea in that thread is a great start IMO
