Re: ***JDs Franchise Custom All-Madden Slider Set***

Hillis got 49 on 1 play (punt inside the 1, had him for a safety, and broke the tackle).

I was in pure grind it out mode, though I was really balanced (40R, 36P) in both playcalls and yards. That's a real good feeling when you have that kind of balance.

I got the ball back with 8:59 to go in the game at my 13. I was going to run out the clock, and had a 3rd and 5. CPU showed engage eight, audibled to a quick pass, and hit bess, but he fumbled on the 3. Pissed me off.

Fumble was on a sack, led to 7 Cleveland points.
Interception was me being stupid trying to force a ball to a TE on a smash route into a window (never a good decision with Henne)
Fumble by Bess as I was trying to get a 1st down.

Which sliders are you using the ones on pg.1 or on pg.2?

@ pdiehm

Those be some nice stats, good wins as well. I see you cut down on the turnovers. I see the Chargers D held Thomas in check pretty well, I take it you made the adjustment to the 37 run block.

Also nice domination of TOP, especially against the Browns. I really did enjoy the game using the Dolphins, I found you can be quite agressive with Moore on intermediate throws which was great, and I loved the speed Bush had.

As for the sack total, I take it you got quite a few on the last few drives as Rivers tried to mount a comeback.

Thanks for the feedback, those stats really do look pretty darn solid.

Yes, I lowered to 37 run block.

I got 3 sacks on that last drive, including 1 on 4th down to end the game. I'm using Henne because in every area, he's rated better than Moore. I will be getting a QB in the draft.

Re: ***JDs Franchise Custom All-Madden Slider Set***

Just beat the Jets 52-20.

Was down 10-0 early in the first because of a turnover, and a long pass to Mason. Kept pounding Daniel Thomas (33-161-2 LG 53) and it paid off in the 4th quarter during a 9 minute drive. The 1 and 2 yard gains in the first quarter, were becoming 4-7 yard gains.

Bush had a kickoff return for a TD (98 yds), nearly had a PR TD (52 yards to the 9) and Bess had a 64 yard return on a punt (to the 17).

Henne was good (28/38) 291 3-1, and had 3 pancake blocks by Jake Long (MONSTER).

Offense was 473-397. Sanchez was 25/33 275 1-0, and Tomlinson did NOTHING. 23-43-0.

Score is misleading because essentially I had 21 pts on special teams (2 TD drives totaling 26 yards or something).

It was really interesting watching the fatigue factor of the defense kick in. What was not working in the 1st half was suddenly busting wide open in the 3rd and 4th quarter.

Oh yeah, Dansby had 13 tackles (8 solo), Wake had 11, Bell had 11. No sacks.

4-1 on the year, and Dansby leads the team in tackles with 49, Wake with 41, and I have 8.5 sacks on the year.

Jake Long has 8 Pancakes through 5 games.

Game ball goes to your special teams. Thats a decent win and you first outright blowout, good job.

Yer, I really do like using the ground game, and the fatigue does factor in quite nicely late, especially if you just keep on pounding it with positive yardage. I also am enjoying seeing your mix of stats through these games.

With that special teams, looks like you executed quite well in the EZ. Gonna try get in a game today, a Week 15 game still so gotta choose a decent match up. You are on a 4 win streak at the moment after dropping the first game right? Nicely done.

Re: ***JDs Franchise Custom All-Madden Slider Set***

Really not sure how this happened...

I just beat Oakland 72-17.

Your set for M11 was brilliant. They were so challenging. I'm not sure if its a one of, the way I play or if it is actually the sliders but everything was so easy.

I threw 7 TD's, all to Calvin Johnson who set the record for most receiving TD's in a game, aswell as Stafford setting a new record for most TD's thrown in a game.

My defense picked Palmer of 7 times, sacked him 12 times.

As I said, not sure how it all happened. Not blaming you ofcorse, to each his own as they say.

Yeah, 4 straight wins, nearing end of 3rd quarter vs Broncos, up 24-17, courtesy of a Bush KO Return TD after Denver made it 17-17.
