The current injury setting of 13 coinciding with the fatigue at 54 should give you a realistic amount of injures. If you feel it does not suite your taste you can bump or lower a few notches depending on your liking.

Re: ***JDs Franchise Custom All-Madden Slider Set***

JD, just thought i'd say again, quaility sliders mate. Im seeing animations and seeing plays being successful that not seen before.

Examples.

whether CPU or HUM WR sees a pass going just behind them and heading out of bounds, twice ive seeing them dive forward towards the underthrown ball, catch it and with the ball being out of bounds they keep both sets of the toes inbounds and make the play.

another is that corner routes finally finally work with the right players.

I started with the Jags after realising Thursday night how bad they really are. Went 3-13 1st season (lol).

Massive coaching changes, and a draft focused on defense has led me to start 3-1. What I really like is how the game reacts to what you decide you want to be. I have entire set of DB's with good catch ratings and aggressive tendecies so i might be last in YPG but i lead the league in INT. Bend don't break as they say lol.

Gabbert is inconsistant as he should be so early in career so well done mate.

Re: ***JDs Franchise Custom All-Madden Slider Set***

Great, glad to hear you enjoying them bud. Thanks.

I hear you, I recently played as the Falcons against the Jags in the thursday night matchup. I remind you I play a few random games a week in my 32 team chise.

I held that offense to four 3 and outs which was great to start. I just focused on stopping MJD (1st QTR only had 5 carries for 25 yards). I was stoked to keep a shutout midway through the 2nd QTR.

Glabbert had 2 completions out of 8 attempts for around 32 yards and 4 rush attempts for 12 so I was stoked.

UNTIL..MJD hit the middle which was all clogged up, bounced to the outside and hit a 42 yarder for a score. The run itself was amazing. I just missed a diving takle from behind with CB Owens, then tried to hit stick him high with Moore only to see him bounce right off while MDJ stumbled to the right, thinking he was going down, but..in the midst of it all he regained composure and ran it in..I was stunned. First time I heard the commentary talk about his speed and strength for his size after the TD run, was so great. I didn't know wether to be frustrated or stoked. It was just an amazing play non the less.

Have you been playing with the slight tweaks I made recently? I came across that 15/40 for passing was difficult to hit certain routes with the lower rated QB's. Which should happen, I just felt it was a bit harsh and 17 seems like a good spot overall. Keep it on 15 if your steller at precision passing though.

Glabbert looked terrible, I have not played with the jags as of yet but I can imagine it be difficult to pass with him and those set of WR's. Id just feed the rock to MDJ..cause he is a beast. I learnt first hand.

Well i have a two headed monster in MJD and a rookie HB rated 82 overall with incredible speed and agility so that helps. Glabbert is just like IRL. One throw its on the button on a lovely curl route, the next the ball is in the hotdog stand.

MY best game so far was beating the colts in week 3 season 2. Picked of Manning 4 times including a pick six and one which was on the colts own 15 yrd line. Cox the A rated DB for the Jags is amazing. I'm starting to think hes my favourtite DB in the game.

Got torn apart by the Packers but hey who doesn't. Cos i finished last last year I have easier scedule so i reckon .500 season deffo achievable.

Re: ***JDs Franchise Custom All-Madden Slider Set***

Hey JD, just starting using these sliders. I've played 5 or so Play Now games with these, and they are FANTASTIC. I've played with many All Pro and All Madden sliders before, but I need some help with these. I don't want to make it easier, but I'm really struggling in the passing game. I'm getting sacked too often, and getting picked off too many times. I've even tried playing as the Packers, still the same thing. I try making quick reads, and read the defense before the snap and what not, but I just keep struggling. Any tips? Is this any different in franchise mode for this particular issue (not really an issue, but for the first time in Madden, I feel like I need to actually get better)?

I have never played this set in a play now game, It is quite possible it could be different in franchise (this set was only tested and made/played in franchise mode). Try 3 games during a franchise and see where you are at.

This set is pretty tough, even for madden vets and such so could take time to adjust as well.

If you find you are still struggling to pass though after a few franchise games, up QB accuracy to 20for USER. You will still be playing at an all-madden level as before, but passing should be considerably easier meow. Let me know how it goes with these slight changes. If it becomes to easy, Im sure you might get used to it, you could slowly work your way down until you find a spot that works right just for you.

I tend to struggle sometimes, I find that if you hit a few short routes to start off with you will get into a good rhythm, also QB differentiation is big. Try familiarize yourself with one offense and QB and perfect playing with them if you will.

What part is the most frustrating at this point? Pass rush, Direction of passes or WR dropping balls?

Hit me up with any more questions if you have any more trouble, ill do my best to set you in the right direction.

Post Re: ***JDs Franchise Custom All-Madden Slider Set***

Wow man, I appreciate the willingness to help. Well so far my biggest struggles have been with sacks. I simply can't go a game without getting sacked 4/5 times. I played one game in franchise mode, and i got sacked only 4 times, and threw one pick. I think I would like to just keep the difficulty where it is, and just become better.

The game itself was really weird (not necessarily in a bad way). I was down 42-0 going into the 4th quarter. I was the Steelers playing the Texans. Roethlisberger had under 100 yards, and under 50% completion. I was getting DOMINATED like never before on both sides of the ball. In the fourth quarter though, I scored 35 unanswered points. Ben had over 400 passing yards, and 5 touchdowns. Also, his completion percentage was over 60. Playing the game felt really interesting, and realistic. It was like in real life, the Texans started playing much more conservative on defense. A lot more of a vanilla style D. This allowed me to just go off on them. In the end though, I did lose.

That was just a summary that I gave for fun pretty much. I think I could improve my play style. (BTW the one pick was simply an inaccurate throw on what would have normally been a completed slant pass). I more than anything would like some tips on staying upright in the pocket. I always try to read the defense pre snap, and anticipate the play. I try my best to go through my reads quickly too. Anyways, thanks for great sliders. To anyone reading this who hasn't tried these, I STRONGLY recommend them.

do these work with auto-sprint on?

I'm not exactly adept as using 2 hands, or fingers at once...so I tend to use autosprint on, and just try to be careful not to mash the running stick.

These should work with auto-sprint on. I think that with it on or off is personal preference. I really enjoy having full control of my runner, but my all means give it a go. There should not be any discrepancies. Let me know if it works out.

Re: ***JDs Franchise Custom All-Madden Slider Set***

@ LegendRyder,

Anytime bud, If you have the time for feedback I gotta at least give the time to help out. Good job with the stats, guess NFL fantasy guru's would consider that garbage time stats haha. Would have been a sick comeback if you had won it thought.

Don't worry, 4 sacks is a decent amount, specially against the Texans pass rush and being so far down and having to pass so much, so good job with that.

I usually game plan quite a bit heading into the game. If i know that I am going up a great pass rushing team, then I usually keep my TE back to block more often than him going out on a route, same works well with a HB staying in to block if you haven't tried this method, It usually helps me if i find im getting rushed often and early. You will also notice that if you are up, and you have been holding them off at bay, the pass rush will get less and they will focus more on coverage.

I guess in short, is if you feel the heat to much early on. Give yourself as much protection as possible instead of guys running routes. When you find you have a little more time in the pocket, let those guys loose.

Set seems to be working better for you in franchise, I thought they might. I think there is a difference when playing a set in franchise and play now games. As I said before-I have not even played a play now game in made, this set was modelled and made for franchise only. Good job with toning the INT down. Your not going to be cheated with INT in this set, if you make a poor throw or poor decision against a good D. You will be punished quickly, all very realistic to me. Hit me back if you make any progress. Hope these simple tips help you out if you haven't come right already.

I agree, I hope some hardcore madden fans try these out, lots of time went into them to make the game as enjoyable, and realistically challenging as possible.
