Also I'm not getting the 15-20 tackles for losses per game now. It's about 5-10 now. Just seen my mlb get 8 solo and 12 total tackles in the last game. I like seeing my Lbs lead the team in tackles.
No BS in the gameplay or stat like 10 BTK per game?

Granted, you use a different run reaction D slider than I do.

I like seeing the LBs get tackles too, trying to work on that with my sliders. I know it's somewhere to getting the OL to stand up to blocks, but not necessarily outright win and then go attack the LBs.

Trying to get that without the OL being able to open gaps a bus can drive through while still allowing the best to stand out (so too high reaction wouldn't work because they ALL would react that fast) is difficult.

I also don't want run blitz to be the only way to attack the run. A good run D doesn't need to blitz to stop a run - only to try to force a loss or a gamble/guess on a slower developing run like a sweep or pitch.

I'm thinking of going back to what the settings were but from the changes made I wouldn't think that dramatic of a difference in how close the games were would've been seen....maybe the snow effects had something to do with it?

It definitely impacted your WR slipping and such, and that likely contributed to the sacks. Probably had more than usual bad throws too?

Now why THEIR WR weren't slipping - good question. Home field maybe (they know how to run on snow)?

It also has to do with the players ratings, maybe awr for Qbs or route running for Wrs + awr. But yes, rain and snow will usually cause a few more sacks, airballs, and fumbles.
I just beat the Panthers 24-20, took the lead with 45 sec left. It was raining and I had a fumble and int early, they jumped out 20-7 at half. I battled back and now my O-line, Moss, and Grossman are hot! I am still struggling to stop the run, but just the last 2 games, and I give the credit/reason to both Eagles and Panthers bc they would either run with Rbs, or the Qbs would take off after 2-3 secs. In the pocket.
I would spy and contain and then the Rbs would have more room to run. So I'm not going to drop CPU running just yet. I give all the credit to the CPU for making me have to pick my poision. I actually felt like these gamebreakers Vick, Mccoy, Cam, and Deangelo Williams played like they would/will IRL. It was a tuff win on the road in Carolina.

My Skins are 4-2 now. About to face the 1-5 Bills, if I lose this one it will be a big surprise

I don't see 10 btks per game, that would be ridiculous. I did however get the takles for loss(tfls) down to about 7-10 per game. I usually get 2-3 btks myself and the CPU is abt the same. It doesn't always show up on the stats but I know what I see.

The run game for the CPU is stout. You shouldn't blitz to stop the run too much bc that will eventually give them a breakout run. I try not to stack the box(unless its obvious, goaline stand situation). If you do it usually means they will have a hay day running outside the tackles. The key is keeping the backs in the box, the more defenders to bring'em down the better. Containing the back!

Re: Normal/All Pro/Realism

with your RB auto sub at 85/87, are you seeing your no. 1 back go out in the second half and not come back in like on previous maddens? or are you getting a good balance between your backs?

Re: Normal/All Pro/Realism

Just played the super bowl I was the eagles and lost to the pats 24-17

Had a ko return on the first play, Devin Hester style

Deep passing with Vick was hard as it seemed he overthrew everyone

Although it wa hard to try and stay in the pocket

Good game though, these are the sliders for me....it's a challenge

Not yet. I get about 20-25 carries per gm w/ hightower still. I wish he would go out at least 5 more snaps. However it may be his stamina. Haven't seen how high it is yet. If your back does start disappearing too much, just move it down to 82-84 or something like that.

Thanks bro, they are challenging but I don't feel cheated when I lose. Not like straight All-Madden does. I actually am getting right around what Grossman has done for his career. 56%, 75-80qb rating, and 220yds per game. Im sure if I put 1 or 2 more playmakers around him those numbers will go up. It's just my 1st season with Grossman. Still undecided if I want to start grooming a younger Qbs or stick with Grossman. I know I will be drafting a Qb and Wr this offseason though. Thanks for the feedback. Enjoy!
