Shadia147's CPU vs CPU Sliders, 15 mins, All-Madden

Hi Guys;
Havent done this before. But since Sunday when I got involved trying to help Dolfan come up with HIS sliders... It was suggested that I try coming up with some of my own.
So that's what I have done.
These Sliders are for Offline Franchise mode using 15 minute qtrs. I'm trying to get as realistic a game as I can. Now, statistically, I'm not basing this on Per-Game stats, but rather I'm more concerned with individual PLAY stats. Figuring that if I'm averaging 65-70% Pass Comp, 3.5 to 4.5 Yds per carry. And roughly 10 yards per pass comp, I should be just about right. I'm al;so looking at Penalties, Sacks, and turnovers.
So I've played about a weeks worth of games using these sliders. I'm currently playing all 32 teams CPU vs CPU. Watching, making adjustments as I go. I'm in week two of my Pre Season. BTW, using default rosters straight out of box.
So without further adieu, here goes...
FRANCHISE MODE (EVERYTHING on CPU settings, roster moves injuries etc)
All-Madden ( more accurate playbook, plays off season more realistically)
15 Minute Quarters
Gameflow on
Play Clock on
Camera ..Broadcast
Auto Strafe on
Auto Sprint on
Fatigue 50
Game Speed Very Slow
Threshold at zero

Penalties
Offside 100
False Start 60
Holding 50
Facemask 55
Def PI 100
Off PI 100
KR/PR Interference 65
Clipping 55
Int Grounding 75
Roughing Passer 50
Roughing Kicker 75

Player Skill (CPU only)
QBacc 35
Pass Blocking 30
WR Catch 45

Broken Tackles 25
Run Blocking 25
Fumbles 25

Pass Reaction 15
Interceptions 15
Pass Rush 0

Rush React 25
Block Shed 25
Tackling 25

Ok, I'm in middle of Pats Bucs game right now, but I'm using MkHarsh's Auto-Subs I think.
What I'm after here is I wanted to loosen up the passing game. I want to see sideline completions. YAC's, and Passing Comp somewhere around 70%. I was concerned about sacks, but after hearing John Madden talk today, I think I might be in the right ballpark there.
(Sacks might double this season IRL).
So there's my CPU vs CPU Sliders.
I'm an old guy who's been doing this since the mid nineties. Not claiming to be an expert because I steal a lot from you guys.
But I have a definite opinion as to how I want the game to FEEL.
One thing, when the sliders are right, forget about the stats.. You can "Feel" the game more organically. It runs smoother. You might get weird stats every once in a while, but over time the numbers fall into place.
I'm not claiming these are done yet. I'll be tweeking them the rest of my Pre-Season.
Have at it boys ! Enjoy!

9-15-11 update on page TWO! again!

I'm still working on my sliders. Getting real close!
The one thing I'm seeing that I havent figured out how to make better is long deep post patterns.
Seems like the QB either underthrows, overthrows, or the receiver just drops them with hands of iron.
Has anybody found a slider set that allows for completions on the deep post pattern?

Re: Shadia147's CPU vs CPU Sliders, 15 mins, All-Madden

Just updating my sliders;
Still on All-Madden, 15 Min Franchise Mode (very Important), Very slow speed, Threshold at zero.

I made some changes on the passing game as follows;

QBA 40
Pass Block 50
WR Catch 45

Broken Tackles 25
Run Blocking 30
Fumbles 25

Pass React 10
Interceptions 15
Pass Rush 0

Rush React 15
Block Shedding 25
Tackling 20

FG Power 50
FG Acc 40
Punt Power 50
Punt Accuracy 100
Kickoff Power 50

These are new adjustments. I'm going to play some games tonight. Right now, I'm really happy with the passing game. But somehow, I messed up my running game. Hopefully the adjustments I just made addresses that issue.

Re: Shadia147's CPU vs CPU Sliders, 15 mins, All-Madden

I'm trying guys )
Seems like when I get one thing fixed, something else gets out of wack.
I'm seeing an odd tendency that hasnt been addressed on the boards.... I've been trying to fix Interceptions and sacks.

My sack numbers are fine for the visiting teams, but way out of wack for the home teams.
Three games in a row, I've had the visitors get 2-3 sacks, which is acceptable. But my home teams are getting 9-10.
I tried the premise that perhaps like in NBA2K11, the USER sliders and CPU sliders represent the different teams. So I made both the same. But I'm still seeing it.
As to Interceptions... I played the Colts -Redskins game three times today.
The first time, I had Interceptions at 25. Manning threw four INTS in the first half.
So I lowered the INTS to zero again. Manning still threw 4 INTS.
So, I get the idea of raising the INT slider all the way up to 100.
Guess what? Manning only threw 1 INT.
The next game was Giants-Bears, set slider back to 25, and Cutler threw 4 INTs in the first quarter.
So does that mean the INT slider is inverted?
I'm looking deeper into this.

BTW, I want to point out that sliders are different in Franchise mode than PLay Now, just for the record.

Re: Shadia147's CPU vs CPU Sliders, 15 mins, All-Madden

I hope you get these. My plan was to do an entire franchise and have every game played out CPU vs. CPU. But after two games, the Packers had 607 yards against the Saints and lost (Saints had 3 INTS for TD's) and then the Ravens beat the Steelers and they also put up 607 yards.........against the Steelers. Again, I hope you get these down, but right now they aren't very close.

Truthfully I havent seen numbers anything like that. I'm seeing around 380-420 total offense. I'll post my stats for the game I'm watching now.
Redskins Ravens. Just kicking off.

Re: Shadia147's CPU vs CPU Sliders, 15 mins, All-Madden

NEW sliders!

BOTH CPU AND HUMAN must be set the same.

QBA 40
Pass Block 50
WR Catch 45

Broken Tackles 30
Run Blocking 30
Fumbles 25

Pass React 10
Interceptions 15
Pass Rush 0

Rush React 15
Block Shed 20
Tackling 20

Gave me the following results;
Ravens 24 Redskins 21 (preseason game)

Total Offense Ravens 264, Redskins 273
Rushing Yards Redskins (Without Torain) 51, Ravens 96
Passing Yards Redskins 222 , Ravens 168
Turnovers Redskins 6 (4 INTS), Ravens 2 (1 INT)
Penalties Redskins 1-15, Ravens 4-52

Individual stats
WASH
Passing
Beck 77.4, 7-13, 115 yds, 53%, 1 INT
Mc Nabb, 26.2, 10-18, 75 yds, 55%, 2 INTs
Grossman, 34.4, 7-12, 53 yds, 58%, 1 INT

Rushing
Davis,14-38, 2.7 ypc, 1 fumb,
K. Williams 5-10, 2.0 YPC
Helu, 1-3, 3.0 YPC
Defense
Holliday 1 sack
Doughty 1 sack
Alexander 1 sack

Ravens
Passing

Flacco, 68.6, 16-23, 147 yds, 69%, 1 INT
Bulger, 86.7, 4-5, 24 yds, 80%, 0 INTs
Cantwell, 67.7, 2-4, 23 yds, 50%, 0 INTs

Rushing
McGahee, 16-36, 2.2 YPC, 1 TD,
Rice, 11-30, 2.7 YPC, 0TD
Allen, 11-30, 2.7, 1 TD
Cantwell, 3- (-)2, -0.6, 0 TDs

Defense
R. Lewis, 1 sack
Redding 1 sack.

Observations;
Not happy with YPC in rushing game. First two plays from scrimmage were turnovers by the Ravens taken back for TDs. I saw no 20+ yd carries by RBs, that would greatly drop YPC.
Couple of gratuitous sacks in 4th qtr by third stringers.
However, the game WAS enjoyable to watch.
I'm going to play my next game on my schedule, and try to keep same sliders. Let's see if I can get two games in a row. Packers vs Colts, Manning vs Rodgers; That ought to test the offensive numbers.
Just a point of note, when a QB takes a knee, does that go as a sack?
