I have "not" had a problem running the football in one game mia's williams & Brown a great game both over 80 yds rushing(yes I did run wildcat on a few plays) also C.Portis had a hugh game 40 carries & 150+ yds.
so running isnt a problam for me.

Now somethings I have noticed:
*cpu interceptions (superman LB int's)
*no time to pass deep...deep square in's ect.
*no time for PA pass

Just a few minor complaints, I was hoping the scores would be a bit lower after my first game which was low scoring, couple examples of game scores, NO 38 Mia 35 & Phil 27 Wash 33
now in the mia game it was close till late 3rd then a few mistakes and Bress made me pay for it...the skins game was alittle back and forth

I like the speed and feel of the game just hope the scoring comes down a bit

Glad you are liking them. I really do like the speed of the game myself. I guess I havn't noticed the super LB's in my games but I will take a look at that. As far as the deep passes and PA's go I think you really have to concentrate on the protection schemes. Going deep I have had to either keep guys in the backfeild or move the line correctly to give an extra second back there. PAs are tough it they are blitzing but again, if you roll your offensive line to the correct side you will be able get another second to get something off. Thanks for the feedback and giving some specifics as to what you are seeing. I will be on the lookout for those things. [Reply]

I have never played a cpu vs cpu game so I don't have a clue as to how these translate. Give it a go and tweak as you would need! [Reply]

Has anyone else tried these out? Just curious what others think of them, any feedback if you have would be appreciated. Thanks! [Reply]

Ive tried them briefly. I liked a lot of the interactions, but the blitz might be TOO effective. I was using my team thats a few years down the road on franchise with a really good d-line, however. I plan on using them some more with a more stock team though. I will let you know what I find though [Reply]

So are you getting too many sacks in the games when you blitz? I really have liked seeing lbs coming through different gaps in the line without getting touched. I have set these up so that you really have to set your protections correclty to give yourself enough time against blitz situations.

I know your talking about you getting too much pressure but I have only been gettting a couple sacks a game with the Vikings. If you want the cpu to have more time just bump up the bass blocking a little. Thanks for the feedback. [Reply]

ok, I have played with these sliders a little more. I actually really like them a lot. When I first played with them I was worried I was getting too much pressure as every other play was getting the animation of the cpu qb throwing out of a sack, but that seems to have been a fluke combined with them having a bad OL and me having a good DL.

My game today (played as Denver this time) played out pretty realistically in terms of stats etc, and the plays all developed naturally. The cpu wasnt only gaining yards on big plays or getting big plays because they were breaking 6+ tackles, but rather were able to work their way down the field at a realistic rate and were not being unstoppable either. The final score (me Broncos vs 49ers) was a bit high at 38-27, but I am generally satisfied and was admittedly playing soft on them towards the end allowing them an extra touchdown. Plus, there were a few lucky key plays for both teams that really could have gone either way if played again.

Over all I really like the feel of these sliders and will be using them. Once I get some more games in I will probably have better/more detailed feedback on any trends I might be seeing, but I am pretty happy with them now. [Reply]

I was hoping someone would try them out for a couple of games because they are pretty good. You will see all kinds of things using these. I have had some really good games using some better teams while i was testing. I have seen pass interference calls every so often which you hardly ever see.

I also love the feel of the game. It feels fast but you can still grasp what is going on. Good LBs can make a huge difference in the game. I played Baltimore and Ray Lewis was shooting through the offensive line like a head hunter, it was awsome. What I really like is that great players make great plays and it doesn't feel fake. I use the Vikings in my franchise and AP after a couple games is averaging 98 yds a game, I love it.

Even with a great back like him you still have to rely on good play calling and setting things up. There is no super players, AP makes the difference in a game but he is still stoppable. I have to work hard to get that break away run because with these sliders RBs don't just break tackles unrealistically.

If you or the cpu gets caught in a blitz the deep ball is deadly. I have seen some beautiful passess deep down the sideline and also right down the middle of the field. One that sticks in my mind, I had Greg Lewis (vikings) one on one in the slot, they blitzed me leaving him against the LB with no safety help and Favre lofted a great pass down the middle of feild because it was open and he just ran under it and took it to the house. Have never seen that before.

I could go on and on with all the games I tested but I was hoping people would just play a couple franchise games with these to see what I am talking about. I think they play a great game. :-) [Reply]

Cedwebb I will be playing another round of games, will let you know how things turn out

Had a question for you I understand these are based on bill 2451 theory's how much of his ideas are presented here?
