Anyway to make kickoff returns more difficult?

Since the running sliders no longer affect this, the only thing I see that would change kickoffs is the kickoff power. But is raising or lowering the kickoff power going to help make kickoff returns more difficult?

Best advice I can give is DO NOT manually control kick returners. I let the cpu control my players during returns and I find I am getting very realistic results with most of the kickoff returns ending up between the 20-40 yard line.

Haha! I'm in the middle of a game and since you responded I stopped controlling kick of returns. I was getting pretty good results until near the end of the third quarter when the computer ran one back for me. I'm going to assume that was a fluke. Funny though nonetheless.

I agree with Steeler let the CPU do kick off returns for the most realistic results. Im suprised they actually let your cpu controlled guy run one back

This does still happen from time to time. But I agree with the other two posts...let computer return. Although the next and possibly better option would be to close your eyes and run.

This is a good idea! Since the patch I have returned two kicks in like three games. If you let go and let the cpu run back for you I guess I wouldn't have a problem if its returned because there really is no advantage since the cpu is controlling both.

Hold sprint the whole time, don't allow your blocks to set up or vice versa
