Thumbs up Re: Try These Set of SLIDERS and...

Wow. With the exception of a few too many dropped passes, these sliders gave me the best football game ive played so far. You definitely need to plant before you throw a pass. Best stats so far that ive seen in a game. Dallas 24 Philadelphia 20 Not going to get into all the numbers, but it was one hell of a game.

Hey whaaaaz, you mind posting some stats from some of your games with these? Not all, just qb yds, rushing yds and yards per carry? Does the CPU have a respectable run game with these? Do they throw it deep every now and then?

Ewww

You do realize that if you have skill at 100% that means your players play to 100% of there rating for that catagory. With these sliders theres no diifrence in Kyle Orton and Tom Brady and so on. Only thing that seperates a player from another would be speed.

Question Re: Try These Set of SLIDERS and...

DaFunk4, please enlighten us on where, or how you came up with that statement about 100% means that a player plays to 100% of his attributes or whatever. It would be good to know.

This theory comes from a guy named Versuz2. There is a thread about him/his sliders on here now. Some of his stuff sounds reasonable, but the 100% thing is totally bogus.

Re: Try These Set of SLIDERS and...

The sliders play good, but i'm wondering does anyone get pressure with good D-Lines(like the Giants)? I haven't really gotten any. I think just decreasing the amount of drops and these are pretty good.

Feedback sounds promising. I'll give these a shot later today.

Re: Try These Set of SLIDERS and...

well fellas, i made them while back hoping to save my MADDEN season. i was a bit reluctant to post them but once i noticed alot of negative feedback (including my own) on an otherwise promising game, i thought i'd lend a hand.

these sliders (imo) offer a very wide open game. one you'd expect from the nfl. i felt too much interaction with the players were too predictable, and need more variety. these sliders will do that. and feel free to adjust to your liking.

if anyone noticed Tom Brady's performance today, you see the man is human, but MADDEN10 would not reflect that ALOT of times (robo QB). these sliders provide that. but don't get it twisted, elite QBs will have their hot moments and light your butt up on a few drives. but it (sliders) will give the game more balance as you'll notice you and the cpu will have their moment or flaws, that's realistic. with the fumbling, you'll have to start using the cover button alil more, it works wonders and hey, that what its for.

i'm convinced the lack of sacks for the d-line is a programing flaw due to the suction pro tak blocking by the o-line. I believe Ian and crew are working on this for the second patch. i've tried pretty much everything to get a good balance and it's very tough with what i've got to work with.

so keep plugging away fellas and let me know what you think. if you've got some suggestions, feel free to let us know.

ps:i don't believe the 100% rating for the player sliders being maxed out. it balances out player performance since the cpu sliders are low. ex: players passing sliders is at 18 to make it more difficult to accurately pass, catch, and pass block BUT the cpu pass D sliders are low so they won't dominate your passing game.

continue to enjoy!!! :c) ...
