online franchise sliders - are they in the game?

sorry if this has been covered before....i went back 3 pages and didn't see a topic on it, so i figured i'd ask:




i haven't actually tried to set up a league to check, but our commish has told us that there is no option once in the online franchise to set sliders.

so that begs a few questions:

1) are there sliders for online franchise? if so, where?

2) if there is no option in the online franchise commish menu, does anyone know if the game will "use" your offline sliders when you create an online franchise?

3) if no to both above, is there any way to "export" an offline franchise for use in online play (like in ncaa) and use any custom sliders you had there?

i just checked my offline franchise and there's nowhere to adjust sliders in it either....

so does the game just take whatever sliders you have set and apply those to your offline franchise? surely EA didn't create a game with no way to adjust franchise sliders.

and if the game applies the sliders to offline franchise mode, does anybody have any idea if it will do the same thing to an online franchise?

No sliders. Just the 4 basic difficulties, which is a major letdown.

Yes guys you can use custom sliders in an online franchise. Listen up,

Whoever creates the league they half to set the settings to there liking before making the league online (xbox live). Once you use the slider set you want and change whateverelse offline go online create the leage be sure to use ALL MADDEN but once you hit start your league will be playing on the settings you have for offline. This can only be done by the MAKER of the league and once you start the league you can not change the settings at anytime because they will not change in the franchise thats why its best to test out whatever slider set and other settings your going to use before you go and create the online franchise.

I did this last year and im doing it htis year I have already tested several online franchises and it does work.

Dude, sorry but you are misinformed. It was confirmed by Ian and Josh Looman that there are no online franchise sliders. It does not user your offline sliders when you create the league.

I promise you whatever your settings are offline when you make a online franchise they are those settings. Just go test it for yourself and you will see. Its easy do your settings offline interceptions at 100 create a league and play 1 game against a friend. Then go back offline to your settings drop INTERCEPTIONS to 0 go back and creat another ONLINE FRANCHISE and play a friend with same team as you played using INTERCEPTIONS at 100 and you will see theres a diffrence.

Chnage any offline settings to test they do work in a online franchise with whatever you set your custom settings to offline. It has to be the person creating the league that sets his settings offline. The entire league will be playing with his offline settings when he created the league.

i also want to add once you create the league there will be no way to change the settings inside the franchise and you cant change them offline to think there changed in the franchise thats not how it works. You half to delete the franchise and recreate it if you change your settings offline then make another online franchise for them to work with any changes.

any reason given for WHY sliders are not available in online franchise? seems like a horrible omission.

guess it won't hurt to set sliders offline before creating an online franchise, even if it doesn't work...
