Re: ITBEME23 XBOX 360 SLIDERS FOR RERATED ROSTERS

I'll be posting stats for future games on this thread.

I just played my first game of the night, and I was disgusted. It was everything that my rosters and sliders aren't supposed to be. Granted, I was playing with my niners against the colts, but it was awful. Peyton didn't miss a pass for like the first 8 throws, but he did finish the game with only a 61% completion. Thank god, because if he would've kept that s h i t up, I would've just given up altogether. CPU rushing game = Non-existent. I got sacked 6 times. I got picked 4 times. I couldn't even finish the game because I was that pissed off. I supersimmed and ended up losing 24-18. I couldn't stomach the thought of having to go back to the drawing board. I'm going to chalk this one up as a fluke game. One thing I noticed, just like my other games, was the fact that the CPU pass game isn't CONSISTENT ENOUGH. I was really questioning Peyton's decision making out there. Granted he initially completed a high % of passes, but they were on short 5 yard gains, and some were botched screens that actually lost yardage. He only finished with 129 yards for the game. I'm definitely dropping the reaction time slider. I think it's coming down to 20.

Re: ITBEME23 XBOX 360 SLIDERS FOR RERATED ROSTERS

I've made changes to my original sliders based on the horrible games that I had last night. Basically, my main goal is to come up with a set of sliders that allow the CPU to generate a CONSISTENT offense. When I'm having to question Peyton Manning's decision making, that's when I know I have to make some changes. The changes will be in BOLD on the first post. The explanations are below.

Rushing: 8
Broken Tackles:70
Run Blocking: 70
Fumbles: 30

*Last night i started at 80/80, this morning I tried them at 70/70. I think I've adjusted to the original slider set, so now I'm really starting to tweak them. My goal is to make the most challenging set of run sliders, while still being able to maintain sim stats. I just felt that the run game was getting to easy at 80/80 and 75/75. I want to EARN my yards.

Pass Defense: 11
Reaction Time: 10
Interceptions: 25
Pass Rushing: 100

*I couldn't stand the inconsistency of the CPU offense any longer. So, I lowered the reaction time to 10 to see if that would help them actually sustain a DRIVE! I was actually pretty happy with the results (I'll be posting stats shortly). What I liked is that Big Ben would get hot and complete a whole bunch of passes in a row. It first made me think of RoboQB because of the drop in reaction time, but at the end of the game he only ended up copleting 58% of his passes. They were able to drive the field for the majority of the game, which made the "chess match" factor between the offense and defense very fun to play. I think I'll be keeping the reaction time at 10 for further testing. I think the lower the number, the better off we'll be.

Rush Defense:
Reaction Time: 0
Block Shedding: 0
Tackling: 25

*Last night it was at 40, and this morning I played with it at 30. I was hoping to see Willie Parker do a little bit more of the ground than he did. He showed some flashes, but for the most part he would go down on the first hit. Last night, Joseph Addai and Reggie Bush did absolutely nothing on the ground. I'm lowering it to 25 for the next game with the hopes of getting the CPU to sustain a better running game.

Special Teams:
FG Power: 40
FG Accuracy: 20
Punt Power: 50
Punt Accuracy: 50
Kickoff Power: 50

*I'm just not a big fan of large numbers for these sliders, so that's really the only reason I've lowered the FG Power. I thought that kickoff power was a little low at 40, so I bumped it up a little bit.

* I'm going to try to mess with the penalty sliders as well. I'm not seeing anything being called except for false starts, holding, and the occasional clipping penalty.

*I'm also tempted to move HUM QB Accuracy down to 45, just for testing purposes. I know I've gotten better at reading coverages and what not, and I tend to have a very high completion % in the first half. It tends to even out throughout the game, but I'm still not getting tons of yards through the air.

Hey Prince.....I'm updating the first post with my latest sliders. I haven't been on in awhile because I've been busy preparing for a show with my band. Now that it's over, I'm going right back into Madden. I just went through and updated my rosters again last night. I did the latest signings and updated the depth charts, and I'm FINALLY starting a franchise. Sliders are still a work in progress, but I couldn't wait to start a franchise anymore! Anyway, check the first post for updated sliders as of 10/26.
