RE: The "Dummy Profile" Sliders.....

Ok so I just played about 10 games in my franchise using the sliders from the Dummy Profile sliders thread.

First off let me say that I noticed a SLIGHT improvement, but there are ALOT of bugs and it still isn't anything like he made it out to be.

I'll go through the problems that I saw one by one:

1. Holding: However the hell said holding at 95 is a chotch. I literally had at least one holding play every player drive and every CPU drive.

I also had 3-4 holding penalties in a row. I kept calling the same run play and I got holding every time. Many times before the ball was even handed off.

Not to mention a holding on 80% of all kick offs.

BUG

It needs to be at 50-60 at the most.

2. Interceptions and sacks: Threw 10 games I had exactly 8 sacks and 3 INTs. I watched my DBs drop at least 4 picks where there was no one even around and for some reason the CPU QB threw it directly to the DB, that's DESPITE a total lack of pressure as you can see from the zero sacks.

I can see the INT's being realistic (I guess) but not the sacks.

3. QB AI:

Robo QB may be somewhat reduced, however there is still a very strong comeback AI which enables Robo QB to rear his ugly head late in the 4th quarter.

This wasn't the only QB AI issue. I also saw some really bizarre behavior such as, Peyton going for it on 4th and long with 8 min to go in the 4th quarter, resulting in a turnover on downs in their own territory.

Also, in the same game, down by two scores Peyton drives the length of the field on the 2 min drill, doesn't use A SINGLE TIME OUT scores a TD, DOESN'T GO FOR 2, then DOESN'T ON SIDE KICK IT.

Clearly these settings don't clear much up besides possibly making it SLIGHTLY easier to run on the CPU and making both sides WRs drop ALOT of passes.

That's about it.

4. The quarter length doesn't result in any kind of realistic stats. THe usually franchise problems are still here: User team always dead last in offense, first in defense, especially rush defense by a mile.

Same crap as before.

And yet Brady has 25 TDs and 5 INTs in only 9 games with only 2,000 yards. WOW.

5. Subs: I've yet to see any type of defensive substitution for either CPU or player teams. I have seen HB and WR subs on both sides, but that's it.

I have yet to see any kind of these "special animations" or other crap that has been talked about in that thread.

My recomendation to you all is to use theses sliders for more than 2-3 games before determining that they are the best thing ever made.

Any input on sliders that work is greatly appreciated.
