NJPapi's Post Patch #2 Sliders.

NJPapi's Post Patch #2 Sliders.

Ok guys I have not done sliders in a while due to the fact that I wanted to hold off so that I can work on the sliders after we got the second patch which addressed some gameplay issues overall.

I have been working every day since the patch came out on the sliders and have tweaked them to the best of my ability and feel these will be a good set for most and a good starting point for others.

I had done the dummy profile sliders before the patch and was not to happy with them overall and felt it was just to much of a hassel.

The sliders that we are given in Madden 09 are good enough to not have to resort to a dummy profile like before.

If we do get a DLC with cpu sliders then I will release a new set then but for now these are good and if I make tweaks I will be sure to keep you guys posted.

Gameplay:

Injuries: On or Off

Fatigue: On or Off

Special Team Settings:

FG Power: (26) This will keep fg length at a realistic rate

FG Accuracy: (23) This will make a bit challenging to make kicks

Punt Power: (52) This will make it easier to get some space for returns

Punt Accuracy: (52) This will make coffin punting a bit easier

Kick Off Power: 60 (This will make kick offs just about right)

Game Rules:

Quarter Length: 9 minutes or your choice

Play Clock: On

Offside: 95

False Start: 98

Holding: 56

Facemask: 82

Offensive PI: 100

Defensive PI: 80

KR/PR Interf: 100

Clipping: 98

Int Grounding: 98

Roughing Passer: 44

Roughing Kicker: 44

Pre Snap Menu: On of Off

Camera Settings: Action

Game Skill:

Preset Skill Level: Custom

Passing: (16)

Tweaking Passing:

QB Accuracy: (10) This will make throws on the run harder and throws with weak qb's tougher.

Pass Blocking: (40) This will provide a decent amount of time to read the defense and makes PA work more often then not

WR Catching: (12) This will keep drops at a realistic rate.

Rushing: (17)

Tweaking Rushing:

Broken Tackles: (10) This will make those elusive and big backs break more tackles then those scrub backs

Run Blocking: (34) This will open up holes with good o-lines and provide a challenge in the run game

Fumbles: (3) This has given me more fumbles then any other setting but not a lot like it should be

Pass Defense: (13)

Tweaking Pass Defense:

Reaction Time: (60) This will help your defense react better to the infamous robo qb which is overblown by many

Interceptions: (0) This will make picks harder then last year and if you want more picks then put no higher then 1

Pass Rushing: (35) This will provide a good pass rush and if you have a good d-line then you are golden at times

Rush Defense: (20)

Tweaking Rush Defense:

Reaction Time: (0) This needs to be at this level to get any kind of challenge from the cpu run game

Block Shedding: (0) This needs to be at this level to get any kind of challenge from the cpu run game

Tackling: (0) This needs to be at this level to get any kind of broken tackles and if you dont use hit stick most times then you will still make most tackles

Game Style: (Hardcore) This is my set because it removes the staff on defense which makes picks easier and the straff on offense to rocket catch.

Auto Subs:

A lot is made of these and I feel that they dont work as well as last year but this is the best I came up with

Raise the Sub In to 94 for the following

RB
WR
DT
DE
LB
CB
S

The rest is all default.

I really hope these work because I've just about had it with this damn game. I've tried every single slider on this board (at least 3 games each) and nothing seems to work. Is it too much to ask EA to provide a REALISTIC gameplay??

I'm sorry, but this right here:

Reaction Time: (60) This will help your defense react better to the infamous robo qb which is overblown by many

Interceptions: (0) This will make picks harder then last year and if you want more picks then put no higher then 1

Pass Rushing: (35) This will provide a good pass rush and if you have a good d-line then you are golden at times

Not going to work. Reason why? If you set the INT at 0, you will see Robo QB on every play. Good luck on getting a sack.

I have to agree with ya on that, I don't know why Papi sets everything so low. I found these on Maddenmania, just thought I would post them here.
With these you'll get torched.

One thing I wanna ask to you, the slider settings don't need a dummy profile right?
Also does the patch effects the slider settings, apart from penalties?

Re: NJPapi's Post Patch #2 Sliders.

I see that your sub in is set to 94 but what are you sub out settings? Also do you actually see fumbles with it set at 3?

There are no fumbles with these settings.
I played 3 games with these settings last night and did not see one.
I did see a buttload of holding penalties and no running game at all.
