Sub in/Sub out question

Is the best bet to put the sliders at 95/100?

Back on PS2 days, I use to have it around 85/100. But this is X360.

Re: Sub in/Sub out question

Here's how I have mine and getting very good results. I just have these wrote down for future reference in case something happens to my Profile, and all I wrote down was the numbers in order from top to bottom, so I can't list the positions. The number on the left is sub-out, number on right is sub-in.

Out/In

Offense: 60-80
94-100
91-100
85-95
65-85

Defense: 91-100
91-100
91-100
85-100
85-100

Utorde, what are your thoughts on the settings you've listed after installing Patch 2? I'm still experimenting with sliders and fatigue and all. I haven't checked into how big of a difference there is in fatigue with post/pre patch, etc...

Re: Sub in/Sub out question

I'm still seeing a good rotation. Only thing I haven't really checked, and I keep meaning to but never remember, is if my o-line is doing any subbing. Of course I wouldn't expect them to really. Everyone else subs out on a good rotation. 2nd RB will come in if I run like 3 or 4 times straight or run for a big gain after a couple of runs or make a lot of contact and what not. WRs will go out after running a streak route or going no huddle for a couple of plays. There have been times when I ran a 3 WR set and #1-3 WRs went out and #4-6 came in for a play or two. I can't ever recall seeing anything like that in previous Maddens. The defense of course subs more frequent, obviously due to the higher sub-out percents, but that's realistic so it's a good thing.

Really? I'm at a loss because I'm not seeing any subs out at all, even if sub out is set at 99 (except the hb who comes out occasionally). For example, I never see anyone on D come out.

Is there anything else you're doing with these numbers that I'm missing?

Re: Sub in/Sub out question

could quarter length have something to do with it? Just curious. I play 12 minute quarters and have mine set almost identical to utorde, except my qb and OL is sub out at 1 and sub in at 99, and I am seeing some subs. I don't think its as it should be for these settings, but its about as good as it going to get I'm afraid.

Fatigue really needs to be addressed next year and a slider would be very welcomed.

EDIT: They REALLY need to address fatigue next year. I just put together a 13 play drive that took up 7:45 and not one person got fatigued. The only subs were the ones I did or the ones the that take place in third down situations.

Re: Sub in/Sub out question

I just tried utorde's sub settings at 11 minute quarters. I had no subs the entire game at all. Not once.

Unfortunate. Post patch 2 the game plays well. But fatigue is just not what it should be. It may not matter much to the casual person, but for one who wants it to attempt simulation (and fatigue is a part of that), it is disappointing.

A fatigue slider (that works) cures all.
