superfast player animation

Is there anything that can be done about the superfast player animation that happens during run plays?
I see defenders moving at lighning speeds towards the ball carrier and it looks like a cartoon.
I know if was worse last year but it really bothers me.
any thoughts?

overall the game plays way too fast.. everything is hyper speed. Its terrible.
