Roster Update Contracts

Where does Donnie get his contract info and is there a way to change it? I am starting a franchise with the broncos and while looking at guys to extend, I see that Kyle Orton has something like a 7-year deal that is backloaded so he will make $10 - $15 million a year. This is an approximation, I am at work right now. But this obviously totally screws my franchise up. The other contracts seemed pretty accurate. Can this be adjusted before starting a franchise? Or am I stuck with Kyle Orton for the next 6-7 years while paying him P. Manning salary?

Awesome, thanks for the help! I like Orton in real-life, but he is really really bad in madden. And with that contract, I'd be stuck with him. Thanks again.
