Madden NFL Football Rosters>new to xbox 360, could use a little help

Hey so this may sound like a dumb question, but bear with me. I am switching from a PS3 to a Xbox 360 and am wondering how to do like roster updates/patch updates on an Xbox if I only have wireless internet (no way to hook up to wired connection)?
