He would be a backup for every other team in the NFL. He is rated higher than Kyle Orton but I would rather have Orton as my starter. I'm sure its not Jake's fault he cant tell which players are his teamates when he throws though.

Plus he has an amazing reciever to throw to in Steve Smith. And do not say the Panthers went 12-4 because of Jake Delhomme. Steve Smith, Smash and Dash, and a good defense. Delhomme INDIVIDUALLY lost a playoff game to the Cards (not too great of a defense) in one of the worst playoff performances in history. Delhomme as a 75 is perfect. Donny Moore obviously watches and knows more football than you do.
And the Nick Mangold debate? Was that a serious statement? Mangold being a 95 is outrageous is dumber than saying Jake Delhomme is good. Mangold is arguably the best center in the game. Although I might give that to Saturday or Hartwick. Plus have you watched any Jets games recently? Have you personally scouted Mangold. I bet you havent even watched him play.
Sorry for going off but this is one of the worst thread ever. Most biased thing i've ever seen. Your team is 0-2 and isnt very good. We should be lowering them not increasing their ratings.

It is Jake Delhomme's leadership skills that engineered Steve Smith and Smash & Dash. Honestly, Jake is just having two bad games. Tony Romo is being considered a bust right now. Jake is the reason for Steve Smith's success. When Jake hurt his elbow in '07, did Testaverde or Carr excell? No! Jake, before he got hurt that year had 8 touchdowns, 1 interception. It is safe to say that Steve Smith isn't doing his job running the proper routes. Jake is a precision passer, he can probably throw a football threw a tire while being blind folded, off the wrong foot, and with his non-dominant left hand. What makes Drew Brees are his recievers, if I remember correctly pre-2004, Brees got benched for Doug Flutie and they drafted Eli Manning (trade for Phillip Rivers). If you want to be technical, it is the way a team runs an offense. Drew Brees became a better passer because of the system he was in. Jake Delhomme's system is terrible, because we got rid of Dan Henning. Jake is definately a top 5 quarterback in the NFL. Hate on him if you want, but he is clutch. This is a guy you can put in the same category - the same sentence as Joe Montana, Dan Marino, John Elway. It is the offense he is in, trust me. If you are going to deduct ratings from someone it ought to be the Panthers offensive coordinator Jeff Davidson. Give him a 57 rating for his passer attribute.

Dude you need some help. If you are this blind toward this player, what can you judge fairly? I know they say everyone has an opinion, but that doesnt make it anywhere close to being right. I mean come on, people actually think romo is a great quarterback. :-)
