Jake is playing just fine, but he hasn't done anything that someone like Kyle Orton can't do. Both QBs are right about where they should be.

Still think he's not as bad as JaMarcus Russell, yet is rated as if he was (75 OVR vs 72 OVR for Russell).

Oh god, Russell is horrible. I'd rather have danny Wuerffel than Russell. And I mean Wuerffel of right now. The Raiders need to pick Garcia up again and ask him to please save their season (of course, if the Raiders tank and die, I won't weep for them :-) )

75 is probably too high, he's ALWAYS been overrated, he used to be decent but not even that anymore. putting him at 85-87 is an insult to other QBs around that rating, like Eli or Cutler.
Both have been FAR better than Jake this year, past achievements mean something to a point but that SB was a LOOOOOONG time ago. I'd say 70 ish is about right for Jake.
I agree with someone else as well saying Russell should drop, he needs to drop at the 50s, he's highly overrated. Or is he just THAT much of a beast that he can complete 1/3 of his passes?

But yeah, I never understood why they cut Garcia. At least Garcia won't lose the game and can move the ball through the air with some skill/reliability.
Oh, wait, I know why - he can't throw the ball 70 yds down the field. Silly me.

Russell has what he does based solely on his 98 THP. I think if anything, THP is weighted too highly in OVR.
I think his accuracy ratings are too high. If I drop his SAC, MAC, DAC to 60, his OVR drops to 66. If I put them at 50, his OVR drops to 58.

alright so the Panthers won 20-17 today, Jake Delhomme did an outstanding job managing the team. He definately deserves a rating boost to 77 overall.

He still looks like an average QB. He threw some pretty bad passes today. Even Trent Edwards has won a game this year.
