Bears win Turnover Filled Game

Forte shines in Win

Chicago, IL- The Chicago Bears go to 7-3 and remain in 1st in the NFC North after beating the Philadelphia Eagles 17-7. The game was marred by 6 turnovers. Bears QB Jay Cutler managed to complete all nine of his pass attempts, unfortunately three were to the opposing team. Eagle's QB Donovan McNabb fared slightly better only throwing two INTs.

The Bears opened the scoring a with a 1 yard run by fb Jason McKie, this followed a Charles Tillman int off McNabb. The Eagles answered with a 1 yard td run by their fb Weaver.

A FG by Robbie Gould made it 10-7 Bears. The Bears ended the scoring with a late score before the half with a 1 yard td run by Matt Forte, who ended the game with 96 yards on 24 carries.

The Eagles had great drive going in the 4th, but a redzone fumble by the Eagles, ended their chances for a score. After a defensive stop, the Bears were forced to punt, but the Bears forced a punt of their own. The Bears offense then control the ball to end the game.

Bears next faced divisional rival Minnesota Vikings, with first place on the line.
The Eagles host the Redskins.

Cards Shine
Force 7 Turnovers on way to 52-20 Win.

-St. Louis

Who would have thought that you can be outgained by a team and somehow manage to win by 30 points. Well thats exactly what happened under the arches Sunday. As the Cardinals crushed the homestanding Rams 52-20.

It didn't take the Cardinals very long to prove that they are the class of the NFC West, by taking a 21-0 at the end of the 1st. All coming by the way of Kurt Warner touchdown passes. Warner finished the night going 14/17 for 229 yards and throwing 5 touchdowns. Each of those TD's going to different receivers. If Warner did indeed have a favorite target it would've been Larry Fitzgerald. Fitzgerald finished the night with 4 catches for 77 yards.

The key in this game though was without a doubt the Arizona defense. Which held the vaunted Rams running game to only 86 yards on the ground. Not to mention the 5 interceptions they forced from Rams QB Marc Bulger. Coach Punk said it best after the game: "When you can force as many turnovers as we have the last few games. You really don't have to play that well to win. That was the case for us last week against the Seahawks, but this week was a complete game. Which was really just too much for the Rams".

Adrian Wilson, who coming into this game has not even been the best safety on the team. Seemed to have woken up in a big time way. Picking off Bulger 3 seperate times and recording 5 tackles. Geno Hayes was the key to stopping the Rams rushing attack, racking up 9 tackles 3 of them being for a loss.

The Rams take on the Titans next week.

That sums it up right there. You didn't have one flaw in you're game the whole game. Like I said on PSN, you're the best I've played and I'm actually shocked you have 2 losses. Good game and see you in Arizona next time

Re: Week 11 Results

Romo leads Dallas to Victory

Defense led the way to this victory for the Cowboys. Behind 5 Sacks and 3 INTs. Tony Romo was named POTG after going 16/28 and throwing for 236 yards.

To start things off, Antwaan Randle El returned the opening kickoff 97 yards, only to be caught by the shoelaces by backup rookie safety Michael Hamlin. Washington wasted little time getting on the board, as Campbell found FB Mike Sellars out of the backfield for a 4 yard touchdown giving them an early 7-0 lead. Felix Jones had an answer the very next possession for Dallas as he went 95 yards for his 3rd Kickoff Return TD of the year. After a short kickoff by Dallas, the Redskins would add on a 37 yard FG to give them a 10-7 advantage.

Dallas & Washington would trade possessions but Campbell would find Santana Moss from 21 yards out to give Washington a 17-7 lead. Dallas did have one more chance to get things closer with an effectively ran two-minute drill. Nick Folk tacked on a 28 yard FG that would put things closer at 17-10. In the 3rd, Barber would score his 7th TD of the season from 9 yards out, tieing the game at 17-17. Washington was driving right along until Campbell was picked off by newly acquired Aaron Curry, who was then hit immediately by Randy Thomas but Sensabaugh was quick to recover the costly fumble.

Now Dallas had their chance to go up, but they wanted to make sure Washington had as little time as possible. The Redskin defense played big holding Dallas to just a field goal with 2:39 left in the game and down 17-20 now. After a little success on the comeback, Jason Campbell just couldn't get things done as he didn't see Keith Brooking back in coverage, who sealed the deal for Dallas. Felix Jones was lost for 3 weeks with a dislocated elbow.

Game Leaders:
Passing:
Tony Romo - 16/28 - 236 Yards
Rushing: Clinton Portis - 13 carries - 80 Yards
Receiving: Jason Witten - 8 catches - 117 Yards
Sacks: Igor Olshansky - 2
INTs: Keith Brooking, Aaron Curry, Terance Newman - 1

Dallas improves to 6-4, including 2-1 in the NFC East, who will host Oakland next week. While the Redskins fall to 7-3 and 1-2 in the divison, Washington travels to Philadelphia next week.

Steelers hammer Chiefs, win 34-7.

Kansas City, MO -
Sometimes, statisticsdon't always tell the whole story. This time, however, they did.

The Steelers dominated from start to finish to defeat the Kansas City Chielf 34-7.

Pittsburgh opened up the scoring with a 9-yard TD run by Willie Parker after the Steelers forced Jamaal Charles to fumble. After forcing another punt, the Steelers converted on a Jeff Reed FG to make it 10-0.

The Chiefs had a flash of hope on the next Steeler possession, as they picked off Big Ben and took it to the house to cut the lead to 10-7. Pittsburgh then got another field goal from Jeff Reed to take a 13-7 lead at the half.

The 2nd half was all Pittsburgh, as they scored on a 17 yd TD pass to Hines Ward on their first possession, a 37 yd TD pass to Santonio Holmes on their 2nd, and then a 9 yd TD to Heath Miller in the 4th qtr.

The day got even worse for KC, as they lost starting QB Matt Cassell for 4 weeks with an injury.

Up next for the Steelers is a Sunday night Showdown with Baltimore, while the Chiefs travel to San Diego to face the Chargers.

Parker TD run

KC INT return

Hines Ward TD

Santonio Holmes TD

Stats

Pit KC
