I think the idea is to start the Season the week after Madden is released (August 21st-August 28th)...So whatever pre-season games you and your opponent decide to play is completely up to you...That is a good idea though..

Thanks. That was Manny last night putting the dagger on the Phillies in game 4 of the NLDS. All the ish the NL West gets for being horrible, and its Dodgers-Dbacks in the NLCS.

On the subject of pre-season games I wouldn't be opposed to having everyone play a half or something of one game, just to test the connections see if maybe someone on a wireless would need to hard wire into their PS3.

You might want to wrap a spoiler tag around that... I have a couple friends who are into soccer but work during the day that would KILL YOU if they had unknowingly read the score before they had a chance to watch it.

Oh, and I'm fine with whatever we decide for preseason games. They might serve as a nice tuneup for the season, especially since the game looks to be a lot different this year.
