Games start tomorrow. 7AM Start time(eastern), NBC Network I believe.

I'm interested to see, Brazil, Mexico and the sure to be epic failure of Team GB

Screw it, I'm turning this into the soccer thread. The women kicked off today

Re: Soccer

Our entire nation has faith in our squad but maybe the expectations are too high. Some are acting like gold or bust which is ridiculous to me when the competition isn't easy. With the team we have and the world class strikers we have I believe we could archieve a medal, hopefully gold. We'll see tomorrow how we do against UAE.

Re: Soccer

For those wondering/not watching, United Arab Emirates has dominated Uruguay so far, lucky not to have more.

And on cue, a set piece goal by URU

Re: Soccer

Goool! We're playing bad and UAE are playing better but the goal is welcomed.

Careful.. British members lurk these forums..

In all honestly I'm really looking forward to seeing what Brazil can do. They have so much young talent coming through, they shouldn't be overlooked for Spain.

If Neymar steps up, well...

Re: Soccer

Senegal can thank the refs for even having the chance to tie this game up. They should be playing with 10 guys right now.
