2010 olympic hockey tickets

I am looking to buy 2010 olympic preliminary round hockey tickets. I'm looking at sites like stubhub, eseats, razorgator...etc.

However, the price ranges are very wide and no actual seats are listed. It just has category A B or C tickets. Even within each category however, the price ranges are pretty big. Can anyone explain this and give a suggestion?

Lots of scams go on for olympic tixs so be careful. Stubhub is legit I can say that. Your best bet might be waiting outside the arena and try to hustle up a pair. Im guessing A,B, and C are A for club seats, B for lower bowl, and C for upper bowl.

I wouldn't recommend this (waiting outside the arena) to anyone unless they actually live in Vancouver. Even then, it's dicey. If anyone wants to see Canada (or USA) play, they better be prepared to shell out $500 a ticket. Minimum. For the gold medal game, I'm guessing scalpers will start at $2000 or so.

StubHub is indeed legit, I've used it many times. Right now, the cheapest Canada/USA tickets (the marquee matchup of round-robin) are going for $900. Prices for the gold medal game range from $2000-6000.

A is lower bowl, B is upper bowl, C is behind-the-net nosebleeds. All club seats will be reserved for media, NHL and IOC officials and hangers-on, etc.
