NHL2K10 vs NHL10

Closing this one up.. While most of you have given valid reasons, this is bound to start a 2k vs EA fight.. if you want a feel for the games, you may want to give a looksie through the impressions thread of both games..

Hmm...I have to discuss the merits of a hockey game made by EA and one made by 2k, without making it a debate about 2k vs. EA. How, exactly?

Look, people have been characterizing this is a "one plays better out of the box, the other plays better if you tweak it" discussion. I'm not sure it isn't more obvious than that. There are issues with NHL 2k10 that will be immediately apparent to anyone turning it on, and which were the reason it got so many scores in the 6's and 7's. You can so much as watch a gameplay video and see that it looks much different than NHL 10. I think 2k10 struggles with visuals across the board, though there are some things they do with crowds and ambience that were arguably better even back with 2k8.
