NCAA Hockey

I'm not a big hockey fan, but I was just wondering; has there ever been a NCAA Hockey game? Or does nobody cares about NCAA Hockey?

Nope. Lots of talk, but the market isn't big enough to warrant a game.

I'd LOVE an NCAA hockey game, but like stated above, there just isnt a big enough market for it. we can always hope i guess

They make rugby and cricket games!
There would be enough of a market to outsell those (domestically at least) in New England and the Midwest.

yeah but NE and the Upper Midwest are really the only places where NCAA hockey is big. Unless they include Canadian Colleges as well, which we know lots of Canadians would buy that as well haha
still in places like North Dakota(where I live) where hockey is a religion, and the University here is a powerhouse, I know a lot of people would buy into that kind of game.
Keep in mind that Rugby is a pretty big sport around the world, as well as cricket so we arent just talking about the American market when it comes to those games.

I think there is an NCAA mod for one of the NHL 200x games on the PC. Unless someone does what the people making College Lacrosse 10 for XBLA are doing that is as close as you will come I believe.

It would be nice if one of the NHL games added a teambuilder mode. Obvioulsy it wouldn't be a true NCAA experience and you wouldn't have the recruiting aspect. But at least you could have some fun with NCAA teams.
