NHL EHM 2007

Anyone still play this game? I re-installed mine the other day and downloaded an updated database for the current season. Still very fun to play

It sure is. It's pretty kick *** indeed. I love scouting and building teams. I started a Canucks one and I'm about to start my 1st game

The only beef I have is that while you can start using a database set for the 2008-2009 season, the date on the game cannot start before 2007 right? That ruins it for me.

I know, but the new databases aged the players by 2 years so that compensates. It's not a big deal for me as I just care that my rosters are updated.

On that note, I used this new tactic and started off my season with a 20-game win streak. Yes, with Vancouver of all teams lol. I am trying to lose games lol

Re: NHL EHM 2007

I used to play it religiously but not anymore, it's just outdated, I downloaded the latest rosters and it did not feel right starting in 2007 with players 2 years older. I would rather have them the same age and I could go on Vacation till start of 2009 season.

EHM was really on the cusp of something great but they did not advertise the game in Canada, which killed the series, not piracy.

Crazily enough I just played it for the first time the other day, and like it. I've been a Football Manager fan for the last year and only recently got into sim sports games.

That's me too. I've been a FM fanatic for the last 10 years and saw this game too late. Having said that, I like it too and while it's not perfect, it's great for me. I've taken a FM break while I play this.

Tyler, I will PM u where you can get the database

Me too, its a little hard to get into because its older and not as polished as FM09, where I'm in my third or fourth save thats beyond 2015, so yes big addict. But I'm still taking a break as well to give EHM a go because it is hockey after all, my favourite sport. I wish it had a lot of the cool features of FM 09 though.

I didn't bother with a new updated db, since it would still start in 2006, which is kind of weird. So I just took over the up and coming Penguins, who had finished last in the NHL, Crosby had just come off his rookie 102 pt campaign, a young rookie Malkin had yet to hit the scene, I'm also stocking up on draft picks to try and snag Patrick Kane. Haha, alternate reality ftw.
