The freezing at the loading screen really needs to get fixed asap...

Wow I must incredibly lucky so far. I've only had it freeze several times offline and it always happen at the teebox but when I go back in all the holes prior to my freeze is still saved so I don't lose the round. Never had a freeze online and the the few times it disconnected during a online tourney, I just connected again and never lost my round.

Have all you guys gone into Legacy mode at all since you bought the game. I haven't touched it and my disc has been pretty much perfect in terms of freezing. I still hold to the theory that just going into legacy mode, even once, sets off alot of the freezing problems.

There is some legitimacy to the Legacy issue... It was where my first freeze happened....

If the game continues to be unplayable with freezing then maybe a last ditch effort is to delete the game AND save file and then reinstall. I know people don't want to start over with thier CAG but you do have the 75K in XP that you could transfer over so at least your power will be built up with those points.

I guess you would lose all your coins and DLC and pins you bought with coins (or would you? I'm not sure) but hey what do you have to lose if the game is already unplayable. We're not getting a patch as the devs are in hibernation until TW14.

And word of advice, anytime EA introduces any goofy mode to appeal to 3 year olds, don't even open it. Even a few seconds in this mode is wasting your time and it's gonna suck anyways and apparently this year it's booby trapped as well.

I haven't touched the Legacy mode... haven't even clicked on its name in the menu to see what's there. I have no interest in it whatsoever. I have read that others are having more problems with the game who have tried Legacy though. That takes Legacy mode off my ignore list and puts it on my forbidden list!

Yeah I found it pretty creepy to begin with. I don't care if next year they include a Leisure Suit Tiger mode with a bunch of hot babes because accessing it will probably give your console a STD.

Great comment...

The sad part is, it is by far the best story mode in tiger games to date. You progress quickly playing anywhere from 3 to 6 holes per step. I still do not see the need for story modes as I really could care less to play them. Fortunately, the only thing tied to it are unlockables and achievements... In the past, you were almost forced to play it to max out your character.

At this point, I really wish I never touched it, but curiosity would have eventually gotten the better of me....

I actually tried it the other night... loaded up one and bang.. black screen... I would like to complete it for simple completion sake, but if I try again in 2 weeks and get another freeze, I will likely leave it alone....

Fellas, I gotta tell ya, I'm really starting to get frustrated. First of all, I'm once again getting freezing at the loading screen even after uninstalling the game. There was even one in paticular where I had to do a cold reboot six times (Yes that's right, SIX TIMES) to get the game to load properly.

Now onto the next part, the friggin wind! As the above thread has mentioned, I'm literally getting hurricane force winds in every round of every event of career mode. Almost every shot has to be adjusted 20 yards or more to the right or left. BTW I have Live Weather turned off.

So tonight I decided just to play some exhibition rounds on Play Now. I just wanted to relax and play some nice easy rounds in clear, calm, sunny weather. All was well until the game froze 8 holes in on TPC Sawgrass. WTF.

I think I'm at the point now where this game is almost unplayable. It's a real shame, because outside of these two issues I think it plays a great game of golf. Please EA, fix these issues asap. This is unacceptable.
