The settings I was using for dailies and weekly was Tour Pro difficulty with Hard swing setting. Green grids on and caddie off. No boosts as well. That had people scoring at a realistic pace.

Also, I would always put rough at long to punish for going off the fairway.

Lets have some dailys with tournament mode settings,ie-no swing meters.Much more realistic way of playing. You could always customise the settings.ie-no meters but easier swing settings.Thats my vote anyway

Thanks choadler!

Yeah guys we could try to mix things up, maybe a different set each week or every 3 tournaments so we all can experience different settings. I'll do that beginning next week. Let's try some easier settings with meter off, harder settings with meter on and grid etc. that should be fun.

I struggle badly reading greens without the grid. I am on board with expert swing though! I like the shot/swing meter, but im open if people want that set to "off" as well

Yeah the grid off actually was my mistake, and I personally don't think it is a good thing to have it off, so unless someone else asks for it we sill have it always on.

I think for one daily we should make it the hardest thing in the world. Expert swing, no grids, no meters black tees expert pin placement, but no wind lol.

Green grid should always be on in my opinion.Reading greens is a big part of golf & game is unrealistic if you cant read greens.I certainly dont mind a bit of wind because where I play my golf it is pretty rare to have a totally calm day.I would urge everyone to try & get used to this game without meters,so much more rewarding

My only "problem" with no-meter is that the games get longer, because now you have to practice your swing before each play, which is awesome btw, I'm all for realism but is not convenient when you don't have much time to play a full 18 holes, specially during the week.

But yeah let's go for it at least twice or 3 times/week.
