This might be a dumb question but how do you play in the tourneys for the CC? It always says I'm ineligible for the tourney but I'm listed as a member. I guess I don't understand how the online CC thing actually works.

Edit: Got it. Man, I feel dumb!

Re: PS3 Operation Sports Country Club

I finished up my 2 rounds and end result was bad. First round was +1 after 5 birdies and 6 bogeys. Talk about up and down kind of round.

The second round just got out of hand. I had 4 double bogeys and 1 triple bogey ALL FROM PUTTING! I was 93% FIR and about 70% GIR But I had 40 putts. Yes, 40. I don't use the putting meter and it really threw me for a loop. I'm guessing that the greens of Augusta aren't the best place to get accustomed to it either. Hopefully I get a better showing next week cause that was ugly!

No putt meter? Ouch. I finished -1 in the second round.

On a separate note, it says you get a free downloadable course if you link your account. I did linked it to the Facebook game, but I have no idea where to get the course.

I think I was +11 for the tourney. No putt meter isn't all that bad, but I end up over hitting most of my putts. I'll literally hit putts threw the break. So when I hit them at the proper pace it breaks a lot more than I'm expecting. Hence, 40 putts in one round...lol

To play the Club Pro Invitational and the other club one, do you have to get a certain rank within the club? I'm always ineligible.

Yeah, you have to finish the previous week as pro or champion but they are not worth entering any way as the scoring is stupidly low, like 94 under for 4 rounds.

rollins, how did you manage to enter without putt meter ? I always play on tournament settings without meters on so I stopped entering club tourneys as the meters are always on,which I just dont enjoy.I would love it if we could have club tourneys without meters.

The putt meter was on during the tournament. It was the first time I've used it and it through me off a lot. I agree that I enjoy it with the meter off more. I'm sure it will help once I get used to it.

Re: PS3 Operation Sports Country Club

I wish more people would play in the tournaments. There is activity by a decent number of members, but only a few in the tournaments.

In the weekly I was having such a good round until I got a double bogey on 16 and I see I'm losing in the weekly now by one stroke.
