Yeah just so everyone knows, your scores will have nothing to do with your status in the club.

If you stay active, have fun, and contribute to advancing the club through either online or offline play your spot will never be taken. The only people who will be kicked from the club will be the inactive people, or anyone who is blatantly disrespectful of another club member. We all like to joke around, but we all know when it goes too far.

I should be fairly active (10-15 hours+ a week) and if for whatever reason I can't be....I will let you know. Not the type to just quit playing and not say a word (pet peeve of mine actually in online leagues...really isn't that hard to just say you don't have time or are bored of the game...but happens all the time regardless).

I have the regular editiion but will buy the collectors upgrade DLC and then unlock the rest of the courses through mastery. I already have enough rounds purchased on Atlanta to master it, I just have to play them.

Shot a +12 on the 3/29 (Bethpage) Daily. My first 3 holes were +5 so I knew I was in for a long round. If there was an animation for your golfer snapping his putter in half over his knee mine would have done that on more than 1 occasion. Still, I am having fun trying to better myself at the game little by little. Today was a step backwards but I will just have to put it out of my mind and go forward.

and i was awful (like controller-throwingly awful!) on day one, but better yesterday. but then i six-putted a green on like the 13th hole and nearly went nuts, but recovered.

I just finished up the first 2 rounds of the Weekly Tournament at Torrey Pines

Round 1: +15 (my putter decided that it hated me with every fiber of it's being)
Round 2: +5

I don't know whether to be frustrated over the first round or be encouraged by the second.

The second round started out a lot like the first (I believe I was +5 thru the first 5 holes) but I settled down and got into a little groove and made some birdies (and bogies obviously) but my putting was a lot better. I can see myself getting better at some aspects and then being woefully bad in others but I can live with that if I can have more rounds like the second one.

I had my first OMG moment for me when I actually sank a 51 foot putt (which I then ruined by missing a 3 foot putt or something...lol)

Surprisingly my average putts is only 1.7. My issue is that a lot of my first putts are for par so if I miss then it just goes south from there.
