they've already confirmed that the old Control scheme will be out of the game. This is the new control scheme going forward.

The reasoning I heard for it was this: (and I am paraphrasing)
"With such a drastic change in the control schemes we think its important that everyone get on board with this as soon as possible."

It's already been judged. NBA live 10 had this feature and it was amazing! Finally 2k takes a great feature out of the NBA live playbook and uses it to improve the 2k gameplay. Another thing that ea does better, spacing on the floor in 2k is no good. It's almost like the players are physically too big for the court. It seemed to easily get over crowed. So annoying. Live has the better spacing. Players in NBA live were perfect for the size of the court. Either than that, I'm Sooooo excited!

I love NBA 2k. But I was a die hard NBA live fan ring up to NBA 2k6 when the 360 came out. Then 2k became my new favorite game. However, I always observed a few things that NBA live did a whole lot better than 2k. 3 major stand outs from live. First, the crowd reaction is way better in live. Sometimes in 2k you dunk on fastbreak and your home fans sound like they're sleeping! Second, spacing on the florrnim live is great, a lot les crowded. And finally, the dribble moves. NBA live 10 let the ball handler dance! Great one on one moves.
Finally 2k takes a great feature out of the NBA live playbook and uses it to improve the 2k gameplay.

ive been with NBA 2K since the 360 was launched and i have always loved the shot stick and always will
So i plan on switching the new configuration to be the trigger+stick = control stick...
despite that, i still feel it is a good change..but will require use to fully understand what it is. i am biased as i have never really enjoyed the "trick stick" from live...but am willing to see how it goes now...
P.S. the second option should be Charles Oakley's saying "If it ain't broke, don't break it" < makes much more sense

To actually tell y'all the truth... Being a big fan of the NBA 2K Series, I think that in the beginning there will be a lot of guys still trying to get used to it until they pull off that one amazing crossover and from then on, ppl will be hooked!!!

As someone that master isomotion in 2k11 and 2k12. This was a gigantic step in 2k basketball. One major issue this will fix, is the player doing a move he didn't intend to do. This will also give the user to create unique combo's, since Ls is just for moving we can finally replicate a d.rose or cp3 cross. I'm excited.

I doubt it, but I hope the devs give us a practice mode in the demo. This will give us more time to get adequate with the new system.

I can't believe it's not a larger gap, in the poll results tho. To each his own.
