OS Poll: If you were a player at Penn State would you stay or go?

It's time to do a social experiment on OS. With coaches on campus at Penn State recruiting current players and trying to get them to leave, and with a group of 30 players pledging their allegiance to Penn State and vowing to never transfer, I couldn't help but think what I'd do if I were in there shoes. No chance of a bowl game the rest of your career, and with slim chances of competing with the Nation's best again through your career, what would you do? Would you transfer before the season? After this season? Or would you stick it out?

I'd get the heck out of there. Why sit and waste my time for my entire career and not get the enjoyment out of playing in a bowl game or for the Big 10 championship?

I honestly don't think Penn State is going to have enough guys to even field a team next year.

It would depend. If I were a Senior I'd probably stay. As a Junior it would be really hard both ways, but as a sophomore or freshman I'd bolt.

I can't believe anyone would want to stay. Even incoming freshman would never get a chance at a bowl game (unless they are redshirted) or anything. It would seem like a waste.

I'd leave, not just because the program is on probation and I would not get a shot at a Big Ten title or bowl game. Everything the school stood for and preached about being a leader and living with integrity is nothing more than a lie. They talked a good game but could follow their own moral standards or values.

If I were a local kid especially with some star power, stay. If I were a player from another region and was just looking toward the NFL, leave.

If had no chance in hell making it to the next level, stay...why go set on another teams pine.

I would think the kids who stay would be remembered more than the ones who left.

i'd leave like flash no why im going to a college where i can't win a ring! I like to brag to my rivals that i won district last year, so no way jose!

I agree for recently recruited players that this is a valid reason some may leave. Recruits and Freshmen can easily leave saying they were lied to.

If I was a sophmore or higher, the bonds with my teammates/fellow students may likely keep me there.

I'd stay, and if I'd be given the chance to go there now, I'd go.
