NCAA Football 13: What is your opinion on it's quality?

The game has been out as an early release for a couple of days now. Let's hear your thoughts on it's quality in our newest poll on the frontpage!

the only thing this game has going for it is the new passing/defense. Madden has the infinity engine so, its either ncaa 12.75 or madden 13

It is the same game with some shiny new gimmicks. Personally the focus or reaction button throws off timing for me and really doesn't make a difference. Easier to use skill stick alone.

It is fun to run around as Barry Sanders and Hershel Walker. But, unfortunatly that is all there really is. The corners track the ball better than the receivers(STILL). What is the point of a flair route if the receiver doesnt know the back shoulder throw is there. Maybe they should take the DB AI and put it into the receivers so they can figure out the point of the game is watching the little brown ball and catching it when it comes.

Running game is still the same the blockers are oblivious to the field and what is around them, if the HB follows the blocks most of the time you run into traffic or just get killed. User D desn't do this by the way. They are oblivious to balls runs or anything else.

As of right now same game as last year. Maybe some sliders can help, but the new shiny play modes meant to distract don't do their job. Definitely putting my money in Madden and NHL.

I have the early release and let me bullet point to tell you whats great and what I think is needed.

GREAT: Passing System, Catch animations, Crowd noise(Reactions to plays),Scouting and Recruiting.

NEEDS: 1.More uniforms. let me elaborate for a second. Arkansas is a top 10 team. They did not get their new uniforms in the game, Florida has new uniforms but no white helmet with the F on it, Oregon State no pro combats.... without rambling, Oregon has 9 helmets and 12 uniforms!!!!!!! holy crap can we see a little consistency here. I know they have the Nike owner as Alumni but damn.

2. Stat Tracking. I love how in Madden you always know after each play what that player has accumulated. Not only did NCAA not improve this... it is the exact same as last year.

3. Sponsors. You have all of these top brands... Nike, Under Armor, Addidas..... but none of the accesories except visors, gloves and shoes are branded. Not a biggie but would add great polish.

4. Presentation. Look the in game updates are great but they feel like cpoy and paste. NCAA needs a complete overhaul in the presentation, and the post game is also lacking.

5. The small stuff. Eye black, Reaching over the pylon for a score, fans rushing the field after an upset, in game Heisman race updates...... Im sure you guys can find many more.

NCAA is a buy for me but i am afraid that they are like Apple. they have the ability and know that we want more but just want to keep us buying. They should release a solid game that only needs tweaks like MLB the Show, or FIFA, or NHL...... blah blah blah I know. I love NCAA and the good outweighs the bad for me this year but I am really surprised at how much is left out each season.

So far so good. The passing game and lack of jumping lb's is easiestly the best part of the game IMO

Zone coverage is absolutely broken.

Defensive swat and jump buttons (LB) and (Y) are still not working at all. Not very good quality.

I know this is miniscule but does anybody know if we are limited to black cleats or white cleats when we actually play with our created teams?

i'm having tons of dropped passes with no contact. Ball just hits their hands
