I don't care about legends, My Player or online. I only care about Association Mode and without rookies & a roster update, that mode is useless to me. I'm sure 2k12 will be a great game, but it just isn't for me. Not until the lockout is over anyway.

I honestly couldn't name 3 rookies from this draft class...

My 2k12 was paid for even before I heard this news and it hasn't changed my mine.

No way. With the ability to create any player you want who cares? Plus, IF the lockout ends, then 2K will just update the roster. First thing I'm going to do though (after I unlock the 80's Celtics and Lakers teams) is to create the 92-93 Suns with CHUCK as well as all the 80's Celts and Lakers teams (and put a little hair on Jabbar).

Seeing how there is going to be no NBA season, I need to have a basketball season, somehow

Yep.

I played the demo and wasn't blown away by it.

To drop $60+ for that without rookies just isn't worth it to me. The mind can only do so much imagining. And why get a dynasty started when you'll just have to restart once the season begins?

I'll wait on this and if the lockout extends...I'll probably pass.

I'll buy it anyways. Now more than ever because I need basketball like I need air.
It still bothers me that I can't try out the rookies. That's always like a tradition when I get the game.
