Which speed setting is the best in Madden NFL 10?

Normal because when your playing football you only have a few seconds to react to whats happening in the game with slow that few seconds gets pushed to 1 minute it seems letting the offensive player see the blitz throw it to the flats and while your players are trying to catch the hb who they were supposed to be guarding in the flats he somehow gets to the sideline because of the horrible pursuit angles and runs it for a nice gain

Normal is better

although in the slow mode i have been doing a lot better in ranked

I prefer slow, but it is very nice to have the speed options. (and before the onliners jump in, I only play offline) Madden was always way too fast and hectic for my eyes to focus on what was going on in the past. Everything felt like it was on super speed and very juddery. Anyway, just my opinion.

Afer bouncing around for awhile, I've settled on normal. Slow is just too hard to get a balance of good gameplay and realistic challenge for me.

I vote slow.Any other speed feels like Madden 09,which I Hated.Especially with all the pick6's....The defense moves erraticly.

Keyword "option". Thats all I want is the option to change it to whichever we prefer. I dont play ranked online games, I strictly stay to unranked all-madden games because of league play. So being made to play on the slow option is a pain. I don't need things to move slower so I can read every possible angle on the field, not to mention watch routes develop. I don't want things to come easier because of a setting, but rather because I call and execute effective plays.

edit: And I've taken back just as many pick 6's on slow as well.

thats not even possible because this years normal is already slower than 09 by 5%. there is no way it feels like 09

Its more than you think, point is its not the same speed as 09 regardless of how little of percentage it went down.
