Being perfectly honest, I didn't give a crap about soccer until I was introduced to the FIFA games, and FIFA 08 specifically at that. Because of that series I have a far greater appreciation of the sport than I would otherwise.

Playing the NHL games recently (09, specifically) got me back into hockey. I used to be a big fan in the late 90's up until the lockout. After that, I didn't give a crap until this past year.

Don't know if that counts...but hey.

NHL 08 & 09 were so good I started watching hockey so much this past year. I watched more playoff hockey this year than I did basketball playoffs.

The NBA is a great sport but, if you tune in with 5 min left in a game you get the best part. With playoff hockey you miss 2 min and you can miss the entire game.

FIFA really made me like soccer and college hoops really got me watching more college BB than ever before.

Yes, I didn't care about soccer/football until I learned about the rules, players, and clubs playing the video games.
