Are you satisfied with the solution for the NCAA 10 Roster Issue?

I'm gonna get it...cause college football is my favorite sport.

But I'm with everybody else. Compared to Madden, its looking very 2008.

I knew it. When the blogs were coming out talking about "windsocks?" What?

Such minor, minor upgrades.

I think Ian should take over NCAA football for next year but i think that will be too much work for him to do both madden and ncaa. The lead person for NCAA football should be fired and they need to find a replacement. I cant believe they actually think wind socks, field nets and camera flashes is consider a huge improvement for presentation, Get the frack outta here. And the looks of it they are running madden 09 engine with NCAA football 10. Cuz when i play the demo it feels like im playing madden 09.

well, i'm just flat out not getting this game unless there are a whole bunch of improvements, some of which probably won't happen like control over the players, overall responsiveness, and "suction" animations like when you go for tackles or when blocking...reminds me of nba 2k9's suction animations. i HATE this pre-canned BS.

I was on the fence with this one, but i will wait unitl after I get madden with this. Its kinda sad though. Next gen football really sucks. I haven't had a football game this gen that I actually play longer than a month. I haven't bought a NCAA fooball game since 07. After buying that buggy piece of crap, it would have to be an incredibile game for me to buy it. After playing the demo, I really don't even want it.

Man I love college football as much as anyone else on this board but this is exactly how EA is able to get away with upgrades that are considered substandard. Every year they make buckets of cash because most people buy the game anyway. Not trying to knock them too hard because I even like how they are upgrading little things like windsocks and filed goal nets and camera flashes... but the bad part is that they advertise these things as if they are substantial upgrades to last years game. Windsocks and field goals nets are nice, but when you have to showcase them as major additions... well EA, you lost me. Like WR/DB jostling.. good job EA (seriously), but features like this that go unnoticed most of the time seem like they shouldn't be anything more than downloadable updates, rather than huge awe inspiring gameplay improvements. Some good ideas, mixed with poor implementation can give the final product a sour taste. It's that "so close, yet so far away" feeling.

Oh well. Maybe next year. lol

I donn't see why one person couldn't oversee both games. In fact I think it would make things much better for both teams. They could be one big team making two games. They could/should still have two teams that focus on the separate atmosphere and presentantion aspects that separate the two games, but they should also work together so that NCAA wouldn't have to wait a year to get all of the pro-tak features, and Madden wouldn't have had to wait for online Franchise/Dynasty.
I think Ian would be a great choice to head up the EA Football Games Division.
