I like how none of the 12 Kobe voters tried to defend their vote. Lol.

MJ. Best ever.

I wasn't aware Kobe won the last championship without Pau Gasol, Lamar Odom, Trevor Ariza, and Derek Fisher.

I could've swore they were there.

I wasn't aware Jordan won the the championships with Pippen, Rodman and numerous shooters.

I could've swore they were there running the same offense as kobe and his buddy's ran.

Just fyi Phil Jackson didn't even invent the offense, for those of you who didn't know.

Honestly though LeBron James is the best basketball player and i would take him in the clutch. Just watch him in the 4th quarter almost every game, not like they giving the ball to someone else. His own team is staring in amazement when he has the ball. Least jordan had guys the other team had to respect and guard.

Yes, Jordan had other players. But so did Kobe. That was my point. You made it sound like he was doing it all on his own, and he's not.

Kobe had Shaq for 3 championships. Shaq at the time was twice as good as anyone Jordan ever had as a teammate. Jordan won championships with guys like Luc Longley and Ron Harper in the starting lineup. Kobe's Lakers of last year were stacked, as evidenced by them being able to bring an All-Star caliber player off the bench in Lamar Odom.

But, all that was subjective, this isn't:
Jordan 33.4 PPG in the Playoffs
Bryant 25.0 PPG in the Playoffs

Playoff games are big games, right?

Also, even Kobe wouldn't make this argument:

(I have no idea why that video wouldn't embed)

Both eras are slightly different and Jordan was in the weak east so he could just coast to the championship while the teams in the west were in dogfights every series. Kobe on the other hand had a dogfight every series and still beat a team that didn't encounter to much resistance in the east. I dnt care what era your in but competition leading up to the championship can take a lot out of you. No wonder kobe scored less, with guys like shane who's only job is to guard kobe.
