Has anyone ever considered creating an updated roster for FPS Football? I know its a daunting task, but it seems that an updated roster for 98, or 96, would satisfy all sim players. From memory, I can say that FPS football had sim aspects that STILL have not been touched by any game.

Can't remember which one, but didn't one of their games (I think 98) get recalled due to the amount of game-killing bugs? I somewhat remember playing the 96 version. It was pretty fun.

I haven't played in so long so I don't remember, but I thought you were able to create your own league that had more than 30 teams? I thought the 30 team league was only the default NFL league. If you couldn't create an NFL league with 32 teams then I guess the "other option" game wouldn't be worth it.

I remember there being a slew of utilities made for the game. Maybe one of the utils allowed more teams? Or maybe its just my false hope taking over my brain. :-)[Reply]

If there were a utility that made that game to have 32 teams I still be playing it today.

FPS Football and Baseball are sadly very difficult to play on XP machines. FPS Football 98 supposedly works under XP, but I experience very frequent crashes.
For FPS Football 97 and FPS Baseball, you will need a machine running Windows 98 (or possibly ME). Or you can download Virtual PC, which some users have posted will allow you to play these older games. Seems like a pretty big hassle to me, and believe me I loved the FPS games and would enjoy being able to play them again.

I've been itching to play one of these old sierra games again too.
Anyone know where i'd be able to come across one?
I'd be trying to figure out how to play it on Windows 7, but could load up 95 in virtual pc if needed.
