His statement probably cuts into the double standard of a society that accepts "Black" things yet if the word "White" is used it's racist. If that is indeed the root of his objection, I can sympathize. Our society will never get beyond race until those double standards are eliminated.

What would be funny is if the "Black" College Football game came out and it was head and shoulders better than anything else out there. Considering the competition, that could happen.

It's not Black College Football

It's Black College Football.

As in Historically Black Colleges and Universities, which are often just called HBCUs or Black Colleges for short.

None of the 100+ HCBU schools have been in the NCAA video games for a while, and even when they were, they weren't represented very well, so someone decided to make a game devoted solely to those schools and their football traditions, which differ quite a bit from other colleges and universities.

Are there really 100+ HCBU's? I had no idea. I thought there were a couple (or maybe a handful) like Grambling for example.

Yep, there are 105 total schools to date, the majority of which were established after the Civil War.

About half of them have football teams:

BB is going to be a interesting blitz type of football game. I will enjoy renting if it ever comes out. But madden will always be the top dog in the football world. Yes madden has some downsides. But overall it the king of football games for many many years to come.

Please stop calling BB blitz. We have not seen anything but a highlight video. If all you did was look at the highlights in Madden, it looks arcade too. But when you look at gamplay, you can see otherwise.

Re: Whose Excited About 2 New Football Engines for 10?

The thing about BB that interests me is the fact that in the trailer I saw, it says FULL customization. This is something that people have been wanting VC to do with 2k. If these guys do it right, and allow for community sharing, we could have a COMPLETE unofficial NFL experience. And if they decide to include a stadium builder...haha...lets just say the NFL is going to be ticked.

I'm really shocked more people havent brought this up.
