Arkansas blows out FCS Midwest
Coach Moore gets 1st Career College Win

Ryan Mallett struggled in the beginning throwing 3 INTs
FCS Midwest only scored one TD -- Through the Air!
Fayetteville, AR - The Razorbacks had problems at the beginning of the game, but later came back explosive and destroyed FCS Midwest with the final score of 34-7. Ryan Mallett didn't have a very impressive Arkansas debut. He went 5 for 14 throwing for 67 yards and 1 TD. He threw 3 interceptions during this game. Michael Smith had a great game with 22 rushes for 239 yards and 3 TDs.
FCS Midwest was the first to draw blood in this game by driving the ball down the field and scoring a TD on a 10 yd pass from #12 to #2. Arkansas would take the ball game over from there.
Coach Moore informed us that Mallett was discouraged after the game and was stressing that he threw 3 interceptions. All Coach Moore could do was calm him down in the locker room and told him to look foward to Georgia.
Arkansas will play Georgia in Fayetteville, 2 weeks from tonight.
