First Half Highlights:

Packers win the toss and elect to receive. Brees and the offense want to make the first impact against this undefeated team. Packers get to the 24 yard line of the Lions and get stopped by their secondary. The settle for a field goal. Not what the Packers wanted but it shows the Lions that they mean business this afternoon.

Lions show why they are undefeated this season. Only took them 11 plays to go 70+ yards and ended with a Rodgers pass to Ochocinco in the endzone for 6 points. Lions take the lead.

Green Bay won't take this "Lion" down (bad pun)....but drive down the field on their next possession. Darren McFadden is having a great day running the ball so why not throw in the flat to him for a 10yd TD. Packers are leading 10-7.

HOLY Packers! Lions first play from line of scrimmage for their 2nd possession ends up in the hands of LB Chike Okeafor. Drew takes the first snap after the interception and throws to Garcon for a big lead...woooooooo!

After a quarter of bashing by the Packers, they continue their momentum and force the Lions to a 3 and out at the beginning of the second quarter. Green Bay came to play and win. The ensuing drive came up short at midfield but lets see what the Packers D can do.

It looks like Green Bay was doing their thing on defense but Aaron Rodgers is too much as Aaron single handedly throws the ball downfield into his receivers hands. The last one finds TE Miller for the TD after Miller demolishes 3 Packers DB's.

Drew and Darren tried to make one more effort to get in the endzone before the end of the half, but after getting past mid field Brees was intercepted by F. Brown of the Lions when trying to force the ball to Hines Ward. The half ended with no scoring. 17-14 Packers at the half.

Second Half Highlights

Apparently the keys to the game that I posted earlier are working as Darren McFadden is lighting it up. After catching a few balls on this drive he decides to end the drive early with a 59 yard run up the gut leaving a few Lions defenders in the dust. Can these Green Bay Packers upset the division leading Detroit Lions? Let's see how it pans out...

Did I mention that the Packers needed to get pressure on Rodgers? Well Keith Rivers heard it. Keith gets his second sack of the game to hold the Lions to minimum yards and no scoring. Let's hear it.... D-FENSE ::clap clap:: D-FENSE!

Packers can't go wrong. After a long drive and a few great plays the Packers put up another 7. Detroit never thought that the 2-2 Packers could come out and play like this and they are scared. The Lions need something to turn this around, and thats when F. Brown stole another ball from Drew Brees and brought it into Packer territory for the Lions to make a dent in that lead of Green Bay. But all they can muster is a field goal for all their efforts. Will Green Bay add another 7 to their lead?

Well the answer is "No" because Tatupu and the Lions defense were tough and forced a punt but no worries. Green Bay's top DB Revis grabs a pick deep inside his own zone to turn the tables (he grabs another in the Lions next possession as well). Green Bay is not willing to let Detroit back in this game at all because this game is way too important and a divison rivalry and that the Lions are undefeated. What a great morale booster this game can be.

Carpenter adds another 3 points late in the fourth to add insult to injury. But this game is in the bag......or is it? Ronnie Brown who has been stifled all game finally decides to show up. Packers D wasn't ready for a run and Brown ran right through them for a 74 yard dash. This game may not be over and there is only 10 points that separate these two teams.

Packers grab the ball and try to eliminate some clock. McFadden, McFadden, McFadden.....getting yards, achieving a few first downs to drag the clock down to 1:16 before they have to punt. Can Aaron pull off an amazing comeback? He certainly did try, but there wasn't enough time as he completed a ball to Hester at the 10 and time expired. Packers win 34-24.
