First Half Highlights:

On the Bears first drive Matt Ryan takes control and drives them 80 yards, capping it off with an 11yd throw to Schilens for the TD.

Drew Brees responds with a drive of his own completing a 17 yarder to Chris Baker to tie the score.

After a Packers long 50+ yard FG they kick the ball off only to have the Bears fumble and the Packers pick up the loose ball. What a momentum kill for the Bears. But wait.....was it a fumble?!?!? The play is reviewed and NO FUMBLE. His knee was down by the time the ball came out. What a break for the Bears!

Drew Brees makes a crucial decision on a 4th and 1 on the bears 40 yard line. Hit McFadden for a 20+ yard reception. Keeps the drive alive, which ends in a TD catch by WR Hines Ward.

With less than two minutes left in the half Matt Ryan drives down the field to score on a HB screen to Fred Taylor to keep the Bears in the game.

The Bears were able to finish off the half with a FG to tie it. Fredy Taylor breaks a 39yd run to bring them into field goal range with 3 seconds left.

Second Half Highlights

Opening drive for the Packers result in one bad decision by QB Drew Brees. Threw right into Joey Porter's hands and there was nothing but daylight in front of him to score for the Bears.

Teams flip flop with field goals to bring it to 27-20 Bears. Now the Packers needed to step up and step up they did led by the composure of Drew Brees and an amazing sideline catch by Breaston to keep the drive alive. They were able to cap this drive of with a TD run by FB Jerome Felton.

Bears are trying to come back with a TD of their own or atleast throw up 3, but a pass to Ben Watson is stripped and ball is recovered by Packers Cooper. The Pack were unable to get a TD out of that turnover but they did come away with 3 points.

With the end of the 4th quarter looming, the Bears drive all the way to the Packers' 4 yard line. The Packers were able to tighten their defense and hold the Bears to a tying field goal with under a minute to go.

After going 3 and out the Packers have to punt giving the bears 28 seconds to see what they can do. Well with less than 10 seconds to go Fred Taylor catches a ball to put them in field goal range. Nugent then kicks the game winning 52 yard leaving the Packers breathless.

Packers Coach Mike McCarthy:

"We made a great effort towards the end there. Drew played great other than that big pick to Porter. I would like to see more of McFadden getting in the game, but today the Bears defense held him to minimal gains. Defense played decent minus a few key mis-cues and allowed us to stay in the game. We got many things to work on."

Packers' Rookie WR Percy Harvin:

"Wow this league is tough. Much different than college ball. I put my all out there and made some decent plays. I will continue and grow all season. I would just like to say thank you to the Green Bay Packers and their fans. You couldn't make a rookie more welcome. This is a football city and is one of the best out there if not THE BEST.
