There is really no standout from this group. If Green Bay goes with a new rookie FS we will have to look further. The one huge thing is Prince Justin's Catch rating is 74. I would like to get some better hands in the secondary. Cornerback right now is still our #1 choice. If Prince Justin falls to second round we might just pick him up. We will discuss this more getting close to draft time.

No game today but I'd thought I would give you the preview of the game to come tomorrow night. I really wanna get in two games tomorrow night but we will see. On average it takes 3-4 hours each game week to play out and write out everything. So I would need a minimum of 6 hours available tomorrow night to get in two games. This Dynasty has me very excited and I like how it's coming out....I have over 2,000 views now so I know people are coming back to view....they might not leave comments but I know they are out there....

First Half Highlights:

Well things start off in the Browns favor as the #1 passing team (#3 offensive) carries the ball downfield. Luckily the Packers defense was tough in the red zone and only allowed a field goal. But this could be a long game if the defense doesn't step up.

The two teams go back and forth with no significant gains, but before the end of the 1st quarter Drew Brees releases the ball before getting sacked by two Browns players and the ball finds its way into LB Takeo Spikes hands for the first turnover of the game. It only ended up with another field goal but it seems like this game will come down to field goals.

Green Bay decided that this game needed to be spiced up. Brees marches down the field on 3 big catches by Percy Harvin in which the last one ended up as a TD. Percy did a little showboating like rookies do but it's all good. Replay of that will be in the video highlights.

Packers get the ball back after a 3 and out by Cleveland but to only have Darren McFadden fumble the ball at their own 40. Cleveland grabs the ball in the scrum and ends up with another field goal for the day.

If you ever questioned the arm of Drew Brees because he had no long balls of the year then you have to see the highlight of a 56 yard bomb to Steve Breaston. The drive only ended up with a field goal but wow what a throw!

Late in the first half Cleveland misses a short field goal only to have the Packers while trying to run out the clock having a 60+ yard run by Darren McFadden. This run sets up a last second field goal by Dan Carpenter to extend the lead to 4 by half time.

Second Half Highlights

Sure the Packers are leading at the half but these two teams are fairly equal and it's anyones game. Packers receive the second half kickoff and was only able to get close enough for another field goal. Cleveland is still only 1 TD away from tying this game up.

Teams go back and forth with possessions a few times. Nothing really impressive to add other than McFadden is putting up the yards. At this point he has over 140 yards in the middle of the third quarter. The Browns got another long field goal from Scobee to bring them within 4 again, but not much excitement going into quarter 4.

I can't even say this is a defensive game because both teams are driving down the field only to come close enough for a field goal or just ends up a little too short. But I swear my defense heard what I was typing and Darrelle Revis steps in from of a Hasselbeck throw and takes it to the house. Defensive TD by the Packers!

Cleveland won't go down without a fight. They complete huge 3rd and 4th downs driving down the field to get to the 30 yard line. They line up for the field goal to bring them to within 8 points. The kick is up and hits the upright. NO GOOD! Packers get the ball back and look in control to take this game. CB Rolle thinks otherwise. He intercepts Drew's lob pass to get the momentum back.

Hasselbeck with the Browns has been a force. Top quarterback in the league and he is going to show the Packers why. Matt has a short field to work with being at around the 30 but he knows how to use it wisely and it only takes 4 plays to send the ball into WR Naanee's hands for 6. The Browns know that they have to line up for two and has been planning all week for this moment. Hasselbeck drops back and with plenty of time finds Smith in the back of the endzone for the conversion. Cleveland down by 3.

Even with all their timeouts the Browns decided to go for the onside only to have Baker from the Packers pick it up. About 1 minute left to go in the game and the Browns want the ball back. Packers running with McFadden to try to gain that first down with no success, but they are in field goal range. Carpenter lines it up and hits the post. The play to put the game away is no good.

The Browns start out on their own 40 to drive 30 yards to get in field goal range. 3rd and 15 Randel El grabs a nice screen to get a huge first down to about the 40 of the Packers. Still not close enough and there is 30 seconds left on the clock. Hasselbeck in the two minute offense gets to the line and spikes the ball with 24 seconds left. He takes the next snap and finds Chris Henry 27 yards downfield. He catches it! But wait.....time is still running and Cleveland has no timeouts. They all get down field ready for the spike and someone jumps. FALSE START. There was still time left after the rolloff, 4 seconds to be exact. Josh Scobee gets them to the line for a chip shot 36 yard field goal. IT'S GOOD! Overtime baby!

Overtime Highlights

Packers choose heads and wins the toss. The elect to receive of course. After a couple nice mid-yardage pass plays Drew Brees looks to his go-to guy in Darren McFadden. DMac catches the ball in the flat and takes it 26 yards to set up the game winning field goal. Did I not mention that this game would come down to a field goal? But Dan Carpenter has a sure food from short distance and knocks it through for the game. Final score Packers 26 Browns 23. Amazingly exciting game!

Packers Coach Mike McCarthy: "We came out with the win there, but I ain't happy. We couldn't contain Hasselbeck like I wanted and we allowed them back into this game. Between the turnovers and our pass defense we shouldn't have won this game. But we did, and there are some bright spots like our rookie Percy Harvin playing like a NFL player and Darren having a great game for the second week in a row. Why do all of our games need to be so close? I'm starting to lose my hair..." Packers' QB Drew Brees on his performance today: "I'm not impressing anyone including myself. Those two picks I threw should not have been thrown. I blame myself for the Browns taking us to OT. We should have wrapped up this game by the beginning of the 4th. I need to be patient for my receivers to get open and if they don't I need to find other ways rather than throw it into their hands. Big props to my line. They did one hell of a job protecting me, and Harvin has come into his own now. 4-2 isn't enough for me. We need to win more games, so I'm gonna shake this off and move on to next week." Cleveland Browns Coach Eric Mangini: "I'm glad to see none of you are asking any questions about Belichek. I'm liking how my team looks. I consider these Packers to be an elite team with a great offense. We tried to expose the weakness in their defensive backfield and gain some passing yards, but without a rushing attack it just doesn't work. I will work with Chris Johnson and the offensive line this week and see how we can get him more holes so we can give him more carries. Having Matt throw the ball 50 times is not what we want, he's getting up there in age and we want him around for a few number of years. Thanks guys..."
