Easily the best set of Sliders I have ever tried.

GK ability at 60 is perfect, as you said. I never thought up the shot power by 1 would cause such a difference in shots...

These are awesome! Thanks!
Ah, you have come to the dark side..enjoy the manual sliders man. Plenty thanks for the feedback.

That's really why I had to switch to all manual controls. If I lose, I feel like I actually lost. If I win, I feel like I did all the work.

Carling Cup Quarterfinal was against Sunderland and was at Liberty Stadium (note my unblemished record at home). I got a fortunate draw, because I could have gone up against Manchester United or Liverpool. But then again I could have gone up against Derby County. After 90 minutes of play there was no score--after 120 minutes of play there was no score, so it had to go to penalties, which I won 4-2. Swansea City through to the semis for a home and away leg against Liverpool. Manchester United will play Bolton in the other match up.

I hear you, I just don't see why a regular FIFA player would use assisted...it takes no skill or dexterity. It be a hell of a win im sure if you can overcome liverpool. Maybe you can keep them scoreless at home and then try get a draw away.

I really do find that if you play a possession game at home, you really can dominate. It's the away games that are absolutely crucial as you will see it comes into play in the EURO cup.

I think my most favorable win recently was in the Semi-Finals against Barca with a 2-2 home draw and a brillant 3-2 away win, scoring a late winner. Went on to have a comfortable 2-0 win against Real Madrid, finally winning the cup in the 3rd season.

Players to recommend anyone? I have E84 million to spend.

Cool Re: JD's FIFA 12 elite "Manager Mode" Legendary/All-Manual Sliders

how many minutes do you play on JD? just curious to know what your goals average through a season compare to opposition teams in league. either i play it too long on 15 minutes or i have became too good at shooting and pants at defending haha

i have played 27 games in the bundersliga controlling bayern munchen. scored 72 goals and conceded 30, the next team below me werder bremen have scored 52 and conceded 23.

Re: JD's FIFA 12 elite "Manager Mode" Legendary/All-Manual Sliders

I'm not Jd but scoring 72 goals is not unheard of being 27 games into the season. Just this year, Real Madrid scored I believe 100+ goals in the Primera Division. And you are Bayern Munchen going up against a fairly weak Bundesliga (besides Dortmund and Schalke).

I play 15 minute halves with Swansea City and through 20 BPL games I've managed to net 28 and allow 35 (yet I'm still 6-4-10 and in 12th place)

Funny that you mention trying to draw against Liverpool at Anfield, Jd, because that was exactly what I was thinking. Park the bus. Shifted into a 5-4-1 and went ultra defensive and changed tactics to short passes in the build up and should I get towards the box try to find the "ideal" shot.

Well I managed to take 3 the whole game compared to Liverpool's 20 (very Man City-QPR-esque game). Nevertheless, my defense held and didn't allow a goal to be conceded, sending Liverpool supporters home disappointed after watching a 0-0 draw.

I'm unsure if I want to be more aggressive at home or if I should try to hold them off and force penalties where everyone shares an equal chance. Or should I try and be attacking and whatever happens, happens. I mean, I did make it to the semi-finals (well beyond what was expected of me). Man U won their game 2-1 so it appears should I win that I will be facing the team I thrashed 3-1 in the final.

To answer your question, I think David Silva would be a good choice.

You are going to be leading or up there in leading categories if you are a higher rated club. At least that is expected. You are playing with BM, and they have PLENTY scoring options.

I guess it can all differ. My first season with Manchester United I netted around 72 goals (less than Man City) in the EPL with 22 from Rooney to lead the league.

My second was a little different as I scored a few more. My most recent season being the 3rd, I finished with 94 goals in EPL conceding only 20. (I had built a very strong scoring team-I managed to go undefeated in the EPL(I started off to a flyer that season)

If I remember correctly, I had a 7-1 game against Chelsea that season in what was probably my best game I played. That winter transfer they purchased Pato and Kagawa as they only finished 5th that season.

But again, it is going to differ. You will have to really work with lower rated teams because of the fact that scoring wont be abundant from every player concerning attributes.

If you personally think you still are scoring to much, you can adjust the user shot error to you personal preference.

@tHurley2010 @ Jd_Seven

thanks for the information guys, yeah i was just wondering what the other fifa players were getting off these sliders. finished league on top with 89 goals conceded 36 out of 34 games played, so averaging 2.6 scored and conceded 1.05 so pretty offensive and good defence too. i reckon i might of been curious as i scored 7 against k'slautern and 6 past ausburg but in the end the goals balanced out.

loving the sliders jd seven. cant get enough of the game.

Well thats 13 goals in 2 games, statistically that should give you a significant boost in average and thats a good finish with 89 goals. 2nd season is the best IMO, because thats when you get the chance to play in the euro cup where the competition is really solid.

@tHurley2010,

how have your recent games gone?

@tHurley2010,

how have your recent games gone?
Well Swansea City has been two different teams lately. One of them, the good one. shows up only in cup matches as I managed to go into Anfield, park the bus, and hold on for a draw in the away leg of the Carling Cup semifinal.

Next game, home against Arsenal, the bad team, which shows up for Premier Leagues games, reared its ugly head. Lost 4-2 (one of my CBs conceded two penalties which were both converted--he was instantly transferred listed).

Anyways, the F.A. Cup fixture was next against Yeovil Town. Had no problem winning that 3-1.

Then the biggest match of the month for me, the home leg of the Carling Cup semifinal against Liverpool (aggregate 0-0). A lot of pressure early on from Liverpool, but I managed to get the ball from one of their attacks, Routledge made an excellent through pass to Graham who ran into the box and fired it past the keeper. 1-0 Swansea City (1-0 aggregate). And that's how it ended, I miraculously won and am now in the Carling Cup Final against none other than Manchester United (who I defeated 3-1 earlier in the year).

But I'm having some big time struggles in the Premier League. I'm in 14th place, but just 3 points ahead of the last relegation spot and am riding a serious non-winning streak. Has the Carling Cup ever been won by a team that was relegated the same season? Could be a first if I don't turn things around. And if I do get relegated, will getting to the Carling Cup Final be enough to keep me aboard?

In other news, Everton is the team with the money now. So if I am fired, I hope they offer.

Re: JD's FIFA 12 elite "Manager Mode" Legendary/All-Manual Sliders

I'm new to the FIFA series (only had the game 2 weeks), but have used these sliders and am really enjoying the game.

I'm playing on Professional with Assisted Controls (I'm not good enough for manual controls). The games against the CPU are competitive, 1-0, 2-1, 3-2 type of games. Possession is pretty equal but the shot totals are usually one-sided in my favor.

How do I get those to even out? Should I bump up the difficulty another notch (I'm not winning every game, but probably 75%) or adjust some of the CPU shooting sliders?
