Me and some of my league players tried to play Team Up and crew games for an hour and didn't play one single game, the games that we did get in lagged like one frame at a time and we couldn't even get in a crew game. In fact they seem worse than before.

That said, I am meeting with a lawyer to persue a Class Action lawsuit. From early discussions, we just need 25 people (min, but the more the better) and to demonstrate commonaltiy of issues and I will be acting as group representative. Anyone interested in joining the suit in hopes of either forcing server fixes or getting 100% refund, please contact me at jackmouve@virtualsportzcenter.com, just include your first and last name and a way to contact you. I am planning on hosting a league but before carving into stone (creating it) the league settings, I want to know your opinions.

The only 2 things I am looking are: consistency & rational play. Once in, you have to play until the end, no matter if you start by loosing your first 2-3-5 games. You also have to play in a way that resembles rational baskeball, I mean that while not completly sim, you cant just jack 3s or attempt shoots 75-90% with a single player. :58:

VBA 2K Team Up League Update!

$200.00 Entry Fee per Team (x 30 Teams), this can be paid by the captain (giving you more negotiating power) or split it up between your team.
There will be a two week Training Camp period after the draft, league fees are due at the end of the first week.
$6000.00 = Total Prize Pot (held in a PayPal account during the season)

Prizes:
· $200 to each of the 6 division winners
· $800 to each of the 2 conference champs
· $3200 to the overall League winner (if you win the division, conference and Title your team get $4200 to pay out contracts)
· All prizes are team prizes and go towards player contracts.

How Player contracts work:

If you have the max 10 players on your roster, that average contract would be $320/10% paid only if your team wins money.

Keep in mind that there will be fines if you don’t have 5 players show up ON TIME to play your games, so some reserves are strongly advised.
If you still need players after that you can participate in the draft.
Contract Offers are final once accepted and should be formatted like so: 3yr/$320/10%

There are some mandatory pay rates:
· Captains get $600/20% (captains can dip into some of their money to pay players if they want, but the overall salary cap is $2200/70% for the rest of the roster)
· A free agent that plays the mandatory number of stat games and gets drafted in the first round gets minimum $500/15%
· Remaining players must be signed with the remaining $2100/65%

Holdouts
If a player chooses to hold out on the team that drafted him, any team wanting to pick up that player must pay a Holdout Fee of $200/5%. This Holdout fee comes directly from that player’s contract, meaning that player can be paid no more than $120/5%. If the team receiving the holdout player wins, that holdout money is paid to the team that drafted the player to be dispersed as Bonus money to that team’s players.

Team Fines
Captains can implement team fines that will come out of the offending players’ contract. No one fine can be more than $25. Examples of fines can be:
· Missing or late (unexcused) to a SCHEDULED game: $25
· Missing or late (unexcused) to a SCHEDULED practice $10
· Bad conduct as determined by the captain or league: $20
· Cheating or glitching: One Game Suspension and $25
Fine Money goes to the team captain and is not redistributed to the players for Bonus pay. Fines must be defined before the regular season and all players must be notified. After the season starts new fines can be added as long as players are notified. Players can dispute fines to the commissioner, who will have final say in arbitration.

League Fines



The league will have penalties for player and team violations. Player violations are taken from the players’ contract and team fines are taken from the captains’ contract, who can in turn take it from player contracts if warranted. All league rules and fine will be posted prior to starting the regular season, so no excuses if you get fined for a violation.

Player Contract Terms
Players can sign up to a 3 Season Contract (two season mandatory with the 3rd being team or player option).
After 3 complete seasons a player becomes a free agent (after 2 seasons of a 3 year contract if the team or player opts out)
If a player quits, his contract is void and that player will be dropped from the league, captain can redistribute the contract money at their discretion or use it to sign another player.
Players must play a certain number of games to fulfill their contract and collect their pay if the team wins.

Season will be 41 games with the same playoff format as the NBA.

I think I figured out what's going on here. All you have to do to not lose connection (for the most part) when trying to connect to a Team-UP game is to NOT go to the edit line-ups screen before games (don't press START in the loading screen). And do not run your game from the hard drive anymore since it's not necessary with the framerate stuff resolved. This should make a tremendous difference.
