we have about 5 people on our roster. Two of us play regularly, we are looking for a center who can do several things.
1. We are tired of human players on the other team winning every faceoff against our ia guys. So if u win more faceoffs than not u might be our guy.
2. We play a team game. Our strategy is to dump the puck and establish a strong 3-2 forecheck. We move the puck around and capitalize on opportunities given to us. We have a defenceman with a hammer and that creates many rebound or deflection goals. So you need to be a team guy that doesn't try and score on your own everytime u have the puck in the offensive zone.
3. Strong defensive player. We don't give up many goals. We have outscored our opponents 23-3 in our last 10 games.

Only rules we have are simple
1. You have to use your real name. No we are not looking for the 500th player to use ovechkin or Crosby.
2. Use a regular helmet. New update brought the CCM V10 with 3 boost slots. We aren't down with spider web or taxi cab stuff.

So my pro is supposed to be an offensive defenseman. So I try to pick defense usually. However sometimes I just can't or don't feel like it and go with a forward. Does the game reskew my defense-heavy stats so that I can keep up as a forward? How does this work?

IMHO, there isn't enough goal variety during online versus games. All I've seen lately are one-timer and rebound goals. It seems virtually impossible to beat a goalie on a clean wrist shot or slap shot. For me, it's making online play quite repetitive and boring, even though the game itself is quite good. When everyone's looking to score the same way simply out of necessity, it saps a lot of excitement from the game.
