I'm talking about missing wide open shots almost everytime since the Patch. Sliders can not be changed for My Player so this is the reason i bring this question up. This is not a Glitch so i figured it should have its own thread (the Jumpshot thread is for all modes so My Player needs its own).

Please don't post about Association Mode, Quick Game, Or Any Other Modes because this is just for My Player.


Xbox 360 MY PLAYER:

Before Patch:
82 Mid Shot - 83 3Pts Shot - 80 Consistency - 80 Shot Off Dribble - 75 Shot In Traffic

Result - 49% Shooting For the Season

After Patch New Season:
85 mid Shot - 90 3Pt Shot - 99 Consistency - 90 Shot Off Dribble - 82 Shot In Traffic

Result - 38% Shooting in 36 games.

I did a test and removed the Patch from my memory card and played a game. I loaded the game up and the Minutes per game stayed 12 minutes per quarter (surprising actually) but i did have -3 Drills so thats still messed up. Also the gameplay is horrible without the Patch. I actually don't know how i played this before the Patch so good job on that 2K.

PATCH REMOVED:

I played the first quarter only and went 10-14. (Shot eveytime so i could just get it over)

4-5 from 3 point range
6-9 on Jumpers

5-6 on Wide Open Shots (missed my first one because i shot it too fast)

2-5 on contested shots (let the guy get right in front of me then tried to shoot)

3-3 on Jumpers with the defender on me but not contested.

So the Patch actually has messed up the Shooting in My Player and thats Proof.

I will not being playing without the Patch tho because the gameplay is horrible like i said before. Jitters/Framerate issues are bad and i am being pushed away from the guy i suppose to defend on Defense.

The D was lagging, inside points were easy and it just felt like the pre-patch play to me. Sure enough, I re-instated the latest rosters and everything went back to normal.

BUT I named and saved a 2nd one for just quick 5 min games. when i dont have the time...

HOW the heck do you load the other one lol. I try and it says "User Profile not loaded. A User Profile with the same name already exists."

But when I go to play a quick game or ANY game...I cant find a place to change which profile or VIP Id like to use for that game. If any you guys know, hit me up, I can't find it for the life of me tho.

Why can't I explode out of triple threat anymore? This was one of my favorite moves in the game, very useful in the halfcourt and especially useful to beat those damn high school ball full court pressers in the back court online.

Players simply walk out of the triple threat now, there's almost no point in using it.

Can they patch this in? I dunno if its just me, and certainly I can appreciate why 2K would put them in, but from a sim basketball point of view, they're kinda concerning.

- It seems to be the case that pass rating's true value is not only in the speed of the pass, but also he likelihood of the player making the shot. Apparently, if Nash makes a pass to a dude in the corner, he is much more likely to hit the shot than if Channing Frye made the same pass. Now, while this may make some sense (good passers may throw easier catches etc...), if I've made the right pass and the right play, why should who pass it make a difference?

- You are more likely to miss layups if the player near you is a good defender. They don't have to defend you; their mere existence is enough to make you crap yourself and miss, as if they have an aura of mind-numbing defense. Now this one annoys me a great deal more than the passing one. If the guy is defending me, fine, but the number of times I've missed an open shot cause the dude is close by is pretty ridiculous.

- If you're a superstar player, not only do you get padded stats, but dudes actually play LOOSER defense on you. This one is more noticeable in My Player; when LeBron or Melo goes up for a jump shot, the defense always lags a second before it actually decides, to you know, play defense and contest the shot. Naturally, the shot goes in 80% of the time.

- Running plays is money in the bank; FG% goes through the roof if you or the AI runs a play and if the man gets slightly open, its going in. This wouldn't be so noticeable under normal circumstance, and it does reward the running of plays, but its kinda ridiculous to have Marquis Daniels run to the top of the key, catch and shoot a 28-ft 3 pter not once but TWICE in a game. If anything I woulda thought getting the player open would be incentive enough to execute a play.

- Shots have a higher chance of going in as the shot clock runs down. To be exact, shots have an increased chance of going in the waning seconds of the shot clock; this is also reflected in the number of buzzer beaters we see as well.

So here is what i do.
For examples sake lets say we want to trade kobe for lebron, (just the first 2 names that popped in my head lol)
Ok so first set trade override on.
Next trade some one on your team for lebron.
Now trade lebron is on your team so trade him for kobe.
Then just trade kobe back for your player you originally traded for lebron.

I posted this one up on the bugs forum already and a separate thread, but didn't get an answer.

Anyway, it's just sad. I always play with my brother offline and post-patch the game has been really awesome but whenever we would battle with our user profiles only one gets recorded... not both. This was never an issue to prior installments of the game so I'm perplexed as to how they didn't get it right this time. Really confusing.

At first I thought the winning user only gets recorded, but last night my brother won and his profile didn't get recorded. Is there a known work around on this one?
