Our dynasty is having a user vs. user connection issue. There are 4 of us in a league. To make it easier lets call them user 1, 2, 3 and 4.

Users 1 & 4 cannot play their game online. They get to dynasty headquarters, one of them invites the other. They both accept their playbook and defense playbook and it says ready ready on their respective screens. Normally this is the time when the game takes them into the onfield loading screen but for them it doesn't. After about 30 seconds the user who made the invite is prompted that he is now waiting for his opponent, and the user that was invited is told the game session is no longer available and is kicked out of the screen.

This is very baffling because user 1 has played users 2 and 3 multiple times online with no issues what so ever, and user 4 has played users 2 and 3 online with no issues. It is just when specifically users 1 and 4 play each other that this occurs.

We both check internet connections and of course we have connection or we wouldn't both be in the dynasty headquarters. We try multiple times trading off who invites and vice a versa but can't seem to make it work. This has happened for 3 seasons now and we have to break down and sim the game when we advance the week.

Please help! This is extremely annoying. I am finally #3 in the country as Temple and would hate to have my chance at a BCS game be ruined by the luck of a draw on a computer sim.

Thank you

It is quite obvious that the NCAA series has sunk lower than we ever would have thought back when it was in its glory days on PS 2 and X-Box. After the grand disappointment that was NCAA 10, I am committing to not buying NCAA 11, unless major changes are made. Here are a few places I think the development teams needs to start:

Presentation

If NCAA Basketball 2010 can get full ESPN and CBS integration, I don't see why NCAA Football 2010 can't. Make it so each game seems like a live telecast and that what we see on a regular broadcast on these networks we see in the game. For ESPN, bring in Todd Blackledge and Mike Patrick to call the games with Erin Andrews doing the sideline reporting (as in real life). Have Todd's "Taste of the Town" segment be in the game. For the halftime show, have Reece Davis, Mark Mays, and Lou Holtz breaking down your game as well as games around the league. Throw in a little segment of "Dr. Lou." For CBS, bring in Verne Lundquist and Gary Danielson and have Tracy Wolfson roaming the sidelines. Use all the aspects of a real CBS telecast ("heart beat" logo, classic SEC music, Aflac trivia question, this day in SEC history). Show highlight clips in the middle of games of other key matchups and upset alerts happening throughout your dynasty. Have a Geico halftime show with Tim Brando showing highlights from around the world of college football. There must, must, must be authentic, pregame entrances such as Tennessee running through the T, Notre Dame slapping the "Play like a Champion" sign, Clemson touching Howard's rock, Michigan jumping up and touching the banner, etc. Bring back the coach being doused in gatorade when your team beats a rival, upsets someone, or wins a close one. Have a reporter on the field interview the player of the game. Make a weekly College Gameday Show with Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit, and Lee Corso at the sight of the game of the week and making picks. I would also say put an ABC integration in the game as well b/c ABC owns ESPN and you could have the ABC games be the primetime matchups and be called by Brad Nessler and Kirk Herbstreit. A weekly recap show called "College Football Live" with Reece Davis providing around the league news and previews should also be included.

Gameplay

Improve the linebackers' coverage of the flats. Slow the game speed down a bit. It feels too arcadish. Bring in "fight for the fumble" and Pro-Tak (or Collegiate-Tak) like Madden has. Also, bring back certain penalties that have been removed from the game for inexplicable reasons: unsportsmanlike conduct and personal foul penalties. If I am playing a rivalry game, I expect to see a lot of personal foul penalties called. Also, I should be able to choose a celebration in the end zone (like Madden had in 09) but risk having a penalty flag if the referee sees it and calls it. On special teams, there needs to be the option to squib kick it as well as onside kicking and regular kicking. Add at least one "trick" kick off return.

Speaking of special teams, whatever happened to previous NCAA games where it was actually possible to block field goals and punts? I remember NCAA 2007 where you could really seize the momentum like in a real college football game when you blocked a field goal or punt. Granted, it was probably too commonplace in NCAA 2007. But it is non-existent in 2010. For 11, bring it back and have blocked field goals and blocked punts play a real part in the game (Alabama had two vs. Tennessee this year).

Atmosphere
Take a page out of Madden and add all the little details and then some that it has. Kickers should be warming up on the sideline when you are making the final drive for the win. Players should be on bikes to stay warm. Quarterbacks should get on headsets to hear instructions from the offensive coordinator. Players on the sideline should be looking down if a game is tight and they are nervous they won't pull it out. Put dreads on the players that have dreads, hand towels, warmers, etc. Referees should be on the field. Chain gangs. Have the fans chant different things if it is a blow out and depending upon which team you are and which team you are playing. This should be a rare thing but when a team is a major underdog and upsets a top team (ala Stanford over USC in 2007, App State over Michigan 2007 or Washington over USC 2009), they should storm the field.

FCS Teams

Put all 120 FCS teams in the game. The rosters don't have to be exactly correct but leave the option open for people to edit them. If all 120 FCS teams were in NCAA 06, they should be in this year's version. I'm tired of playing FCS Southeast in my Dynasty.

Hey guys, I've got a question for ya. You guys are quite a bit more knowledge about the game than I, so I'd like your opinion on the matter.

I'm playing an OD with a few guys I know, I choose UCF and the friend in question chose Minn. We're playing in the Big Ten (so obviously UCF got moved in).

We're in the .. 3rd year I think? I went 7-6 the first year (I've never played an NCAA console game until 10, so I was learning the game during that season), then only 2 losses the second season (lost the NCG to another user playing as TAMU). Here we are in the third and I'm 5-0.

My recruit so far has been garbage (for this, and the last 2 years) .. I'm recruiting against FSU/Miami/Florida/USF for in-state recruits, and the other users for overall recruits and, frankly, UCF isn't good enough to warrant attention. So my team is.. on the eh, side. I'm now a 4 star team after the pretty solid season last year. But somehow, I managed to get an RB transfer from Florida and he just came up to play this season. He's a 93 overall, 96 Speed, 99 Accel .. so pretty solid, by FAR the best player on my team. My friend (Minn) has out recruited me pretty heavily and only has 3-4 losses over his first 3 seasons so far. So it's far to say he's got a better team, and is a better player (though not as much anymore).

Now, here's where it starts. I've had to nickle and dime for every win. Short passes, short runs, clock management (our dynasty is set for 5 min quarters), etc. This season, I decided I was going to take full advantage of my stellar new RB.

So we played our game tonight - UCF at Minn. He had the ball first, drove on me, settled for 3, I got the ball, first play.. fumble, he recovers, a few plays later he's up 10-0. I end up coming out the second half down 7-10 trying to think of a way to turn it around. I've been using AF's playbook (I like the variety - flexbone, I, shotgun, and ace) and I run most of my passes out of the I. I decide to do a formation sub and stick my stud RB at FB (so basically just set up RB swap) hoping to get a mismatch for all the FB out routes.. my speedy RB against his MLB/OLB/Corner coming up to make the play etc. Long story short, I end up pulling off 5 or so big plays from that spot. My RB (at FB) out into the flat, making a good catch and shrugging a block or hurdling a tackle and using his speed to gain 20-30 yards.

That put me back in it and I was up by 12 or so going into the 4th. I turned clock chew on, and wanted to just run run run and grind that 4th quarter out - I was afraid of the homefield advantage forcing a turnover and giving him the game, or at least giving him a good shot at it. As soon as clock chew went on he got pissed, and wanted me to turn it off and "play the quarter" legit. "No real team would run an entire quarter down because in real life quarters are 15 mins." I said, "Dude, probably, but in real life a team would still chew chew chew clock and that's all I'm trying to do." Regardless, I turned it off to make him happy.

Well, I ended up winning and when he asked how I busted those big plays I told him. "I just swapped my RB to FB to get that mismatch in the flat." He flipped and basically called me a cheater. He said it's no different than when you get lucky enough to get a 95+ speed QB and run 5 wide streaks then just roll out and run for 10-15 a play. He said that since he has no way to legitimately adjust his defense to cover that back (because he can't have a corner just man on the FB without actually swapping a corner to MLB) it's BS. He told me he never wants to play a game with me if I cheat like that.

What do you guys think? Could he have stopped it, if so, how? Is it "cheating"? I thought it was just a good offensive play call with what I had to work with .. not that I was exploiting defensive game mechanics. Sorry for the long read.

or so he says...he also was like "Tebow plays more then i do" and gave me some sn Gators_15# or something like that. Anyways what was so interesting about this guy was he loved to run Jeff Demps in the gator heavy and tried saying it wasn't cheeze. I had my guys contain with LB spy and this kid literally ran to one side of the field...circled and ran to the other side...I was like what the hell? I was using FSU. I ended up losing bad. 7-0...i lead and then lost 40-7...But the thing is he had Ole miss as his team. He was like "My brother plays baseball there" SUUUUUUUURE...anyways he goes "Rematch with ole miss then" after calling me trash/scrub yeah you name it...I play this kid with fsu/ole miss and I win 29-23...I force him to kick a few fg's and i was up with just over 2 mins to play he had 1 timeout. He tried icing me on a fg...it didn't ice my kicker but i ended up pushing a 52 yarder on 4th and 3. In hindsight i should have gone for it but this kid used RUN COMMIT almost every play. It seems like the new cheeze D is to have rush 3 and have Cover 3 on. With 3 rushing 3 LB's in zone and 3 Deep...then they run Commit if you audible to the run. It's funny he wouldn't tell me who he was either...what a clown. I told him the gators are a chz team he's like "What's that" lol stop lying! he was like i'm in the top 100...EXACTLY! He really thought it wasn't cheezing going for 2 with fake FG's and what not. Then he msgs me at the end of our 2nd game "Your ok, but you went for it on 4th down, i tried playing straight" HAHAHH he admitted he was cheezing...what a dick. If you ever see him on PS3 avoid em...total clown.

#2 is also a user and i beat him soundly, but he killed everyone else on the schedule. It just so happens that it happened in the middle of the year and my loss came in the last week of the regular season (to a ranked team).

In real life this deal would never go down... either neither of us would play for it or i would.

Pissed... but am i wrong for feeling like i am still the winner of my dynasty in year 1 even though i wont win the big game?

What is the communitites experience with Home Field Advantage? Aside from scrambling the routes. The two users complaining insist that it increases dropped balls, O-line blocking, a cheat factor for the computer to get back into out of reach games in the 4th quarter.

Any thoughts? I want to keep it on because I think you should always have a disadvantage on the road.
