Hey I was wondering how fast players tend to progress. My coach and trainer are both level 5 so I have the maximum amount of points available that can be used in training.

So I was wondering how fast players progress each season.I assume that some players will progress faster than others but my main concern is having a bunch of 90 rated players by the time I'm in my second season because I don't want to have a super team so the game will still be challenging enough.

I don't want to turn off player growth so I was thinking about maybe just scaling back all the training points and only allocating say up to like only 3 for each of the training categories (shooting defense all of those) if my players start progressing too fast.

I'm only to December in my master league so far so I wanted to get some information from someone that has already play through multiple seasons already.Any feedback will be much appreciated thanks.

Most of my success has been by entering a match room in the U.K. servers. Random quick matches are more problematic. Biggest problem for me is that although i see my connection as green, others see it as red and many people refuse to play against me. (and I see everyone else as a red connection even though they tell me it's green).

I like the option of being able to "coach" a game and liked the previous PES versions.... So, just wondering about this game...

Oh...one more thing....If I want to get the option files people create, should I buy the PS3 version then? And are the graphics the same as 360?
Thoughts?
I want to start a Master League with a lower team that I can work on building up to become great. Does anybody have any good teams that this would be good for? I'd like a team that's halfway decent but just needs some good management to turn them into a great team.

Any ideas???

Also who are some players I should look to bring to my new team through transfers. I'm not really that familiar with up and coming players. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Now if you have an old version of pes have a look at that. Specifically pes 9 have a read what is says there.
It says 'the higher the ability the quicker the player closes down loose balls, passes and opponents movement.
So basically what they have done is put the acceleration slider in twice and left out the response slider:y220e:

For a little intro. I have played winning eleven for years on the ps2. It was by far my favorite game. Everything seemed just right. I have avoided PES on next gen because of the awful reviews, but saw many people claiming that PES has returned to form so I picked it up this morning. A couple hours later I'm now regretting my decision...

Has anybody else experienced the absolute rampant cheating by the cpu? The WE series had it I know, but I don't recall it being this bad. I don't even attempt to take shots outside the box anymore because every time, I am slide tackled from behind with no penalty to the opposing team. I now have 10 replays saved that show my guy attempting to kick the ball with a opposing player standing behind him and my player's foot going right the the ball and the opposing player dribbles away with it. All of the opposing teams players are faster than my teams players regardless of skill. The opposing teams players are heat seeking missiles closing down. I hate playing terrible teams that just play strong defense. I find it literally impossible to score. Coupled with the cpu just ping ponging the ball around on build up play, but the never build up to anything. My last four games in the UEFA with Liverpool have been 0-0 draws. With the cpu only getting 3 total shots on me over all four games because they just do never ending build up play. All of this on the highest or second to highest difficulty.

Sorry for the long post. I'm just venting. I feel I wasted money. On the plus the game looks and plays great (just not against the cpu)

The Latest Edition of the World's Most Realistic Soccer Franchise Comes With Advancements Generated From Fan Feedback

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. - November 3, 2009 - GOOOOOAL!! Pro Evolution Soccer is back and better than ever! Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. announced today that Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 has shipped to stores for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system. The latest iteration of the popular franchise scores with all new features, updates and improvements generated from fan feedback, making this the best PES game to date!

The most realistic soccer game on the planet - Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 - lives up to its name by delivering dramatic improvements in the amount of licensed content as well as in-stadium atmospheres and player likenesses. True soccer fans will recognize that the specific moves of real-life players - including cover athlete Lionel Messi - have been incorporated into this year's version, ensuring that they will feel that the actual player is on the field. Further building upon the games' realism, PES takes place on the largest stage in soccer - The UEFA Champions League. Additionally, the most robust online offerings in the history of PES will include team and content updates post launch.

With over 300 new movements added to the game, Pro Evolution Soccer 2010, features animations that have been greatly improved, including more individual skills also on show, such as new flicks and tricks. Several elements have been completely reworked as well, with the dribbling, turning and kicking animations greatly enhanced, including an intelligent revision to the passing game. Passes made on the run will realistically differ from passes made at a stand-still. This year's version also focuses on enhanced excitement of matches between players, making for a challenging experience that will constantly test the player. Intuitive zonal defending will cover spaces and players need to look constantly for new ways to attack. Lastly, enhancements to the Master League features more team managerial elements such as sponsorships and youth team coaching, bringing out the inner sports mogul in every fan.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 is rated E for Everyone by the ESRB and is now available in retail stores on Xbox 360® and PlayStation®3 system for the SRP of $59.99. Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 will also be available later this month on the Wii™ for the SRP of $49.99 and PlayStation®2 and PSP® for the SRP of $29.99.

I have read a few threads different sites saying what a step up it was from regular to pro level and some more saying how easy Top player is this year also.
So i decided to play back to back 5 matches on each. While i have been playing on Top Player myself i noticed that like others said the comp wasn't overly aggressive about getting forward or about the defenders trying to stop you until you reached their penalty area.
I have had some decent games on Top Player winning my share and losing them but i have never been beaten the way i was last night on Pro level.
The first few games were close enough and the comp was sticking 1 or 2 by me then in the 4th and 5th games they beat me 3-1 and 4-1 respectively. I have been using Aston Villa v Man City.
It is not just the scoreline that surprised me but the fact that i was actually chased around the pitch by the comp and not given huge areas to run into(you know the one where the defenders back off until the edge of their box), they do tend to still do this but what happens is the midfielders seem to play better and close you down faster leading to you being less likely to hit the 30yders with ease.
They definitely play better up front as well as the scorelines for me anyway indicate, creating chances and keeping me under constant pressure.
I will need to test this more but i would urge anyone playing Top Player and finding it too easy to move 'down'? to Professional level and see what they think
